God is beyond our most energetic ability to conceive of. God authored Causality in all of its forms, and everything else that we'll remain forever ignorant of. There was no soup or space or Time or anything until God authored all of this AND Causality. The reality that we live in and think of is also our limitation...which of course The Creator isn't remotely hampered by. So the very framework that we use to observe the universe around us is also a limited and created construct. In essence, the created can never grasp in totality The Creator. All of our references are too minute, however infinite or eternal those references may be.

God is beyond time. Time came into existence with creation.

Right the stories are kinda universal all around. Thats collaborating evidence. Gods been around a long time, humanity as well. The bible as recorded history told of before and what is to come. Before there was a book there was a story. Moses told of the exodus after the fact. The fact that the stories are so similar in every region is actually more proof of the events happening and the accuracy of the history within the bible.

There is more than a focus on the Bible that needs to be considered. The Bible,as previously noted a few posts down,is not the author or originator of religion in humanity. That honor lies squarely in Africa, directly due to what is oftentimes referred to as "THE EGYPTIAN MYSTERY SYSTEM" by Europeans, and predated the Bible and all other scriptures by thousands of years. Its stories etc. are graven into innumerable pieces of architecture, ancient Black African schools, pyramids, obelisks, stele, and the like.It is the first to codify a Story of Creation,it has 42 Negative Confessions or assertions or Commandments from which all subsequent religions drew their core concepts and beliefs, from Judaism to Buddhism and all the varied religions from the Krishna to Native Americans and any and all other. Basically,a combination of the current dominant world religions...Judaism,Buddhism,Christianity,Islam...sans the concept of original sin in the judeo-christian model and added with ancient African cultural sensibility will give you a glimpse into the original salvation system of all of humanity. In keeping with Africa's holistic culture, there was no separation of science and scripture, church and state, the physical and the ethereal, the practical and the abstract, sex and purity, etc. The focus was on developing the whole human being's mind body and spirit and then transcending the physical form to the spiritual form that allowed us to journey through Existence and What Is and rejoin Ptah The Creator. What I'm saying has long been known for millenia by the Greeks and these Greeks praised Africa for her achievements. Observe STOLEN LEGACY,whose Black author was found horribly murdered with his eyes and tongue gouged out because he was spreading these truths that again--any good Philosophy student will tell you this--the Greeks had confirmed about the Africans 2 millenia agone.

Amazon.com: Stolen Legacy: Greek Philosophy is Stolen Egyptian Philosophy (9780865433625): George G. M. James: Books

Again...any attempt to encapsulate the idea of The Creator in our finite flawed minds literally and without any form of exaggeration MORE THAN INFINITELY DEVALUES the granduer of The Creator. We can, however, rigorously analyze the history and veracity of books claiming to house the sole unfallible truth of The Creator.

Jesus Christ. Payback, do not even bother making threads like these. Put some thought into them because your terrible rebuttals are more than enough to make you a joke, but making threads like this...how do you expect anyone to take you seriously? And if nobody takes you seriously, how will you ever win any souls for your gay ass Christ?

The Canon of the bible was decided by did the person do miracles, like ezekiel, john etc. If they did not they had to be cosigned by someone that did like luke consigned by the book of john.
Do I believe in the supernatural stuff in the bible. Ya I believe the whole bible. I even believe the words genuine leather on the cover. ;)

Moses didn't spread the Red Sea, he spread the REED sea. It's a marshy area near Egypt. The first translations were just wrong. Probably didn't even spread it; but Moses grew up near the marsh and more than likely knew certain parts that would subside and allow people to travel across it at certain times during the day

TheBigPayback, Why did you agree with THIS or quote it?

This paragraph basically says every single Holy Book is a baseless crock of shit if its claiming to be the truth about a God in which we have no possibility of comprehending. This paragraph is the basis of Agnosticism really, and your affirmation of it is in direct opposition to almost everything laid down in the Bible except the vaguest inkling of the idea of the possibility of a god...
