Ever use Google Maps to plan a run?

    I'm sure plenty have thought of this already, but it just occurred to me today.

    I wanted to run a specific length, and I wanted to plan the streets I ran on.. I could find a straightaway to make it easier.

    Google Maps is awesome for this. I also found Microsofts Live Search Maps which is cool cuz I could draw my route and it would map it in real time and tell me exactly how far it is.

    Anyone else ever try this?

    I called this one mile of hell because alot of it is uphill & theres a few sets of stairs.

    I use to run DOWN those steps Rocky style, hahahaha.


    Fuck 1 mile of hell, 7 hours of hell.


    That is maaad far to only be one mile too. I would be mad just running up the Smith hill by itself.

    I only run from my front door to my mail box when the checks come, so Google maps is not required.

    using threadmill u don't have to use a google map. but i'll try that idea. sounds cool.
