Yeh I didnt mean £45mn is too much for him, I think hes worth that aswell, I just meant for Chelsea since they brought Torres for £50mn they dont really wanna be spending massive amounts in attack again.

I hope Falcao comes to england although I cant see who would buy him at such a high price, United have VP & Rooney, Man City have Tevez, Dzeko, Augero & Balotelli, Chelsea have Torres & soon to get Ba and Arsenal just wont splash out that much.

Wonder where David Villa will end up.

Definitely some interesting transfer rumors going about, but does anyone know when those new transfer rules are coming into practice? They limit teams from spending more money than they can generate, ATM I'm pretty sure they are only going to apply it to the English premier league

I thought that was actually a UEFA rule that they are bringing in which means any team that doesnt balance their books for that season will not be allowed to enter the Champions League if they qualify.

I think UEFA already banned Malaga from next seasons competition for something to do with this.

Unlucky for villa, a goal against them in the 95th minute, and arsenal continue to fuck up with a 1-1 draw with Southampton

Yeh I dont know what think about it really, firstly would they have done that in a match which actually meant something? I personally dont think so, its easy to make a stand in a friendly. Also I dont really see how it punishes the racist fans, they will probably see it as a victory if anything.

Sadly racist fans are a part of football and you get them everywhere and I dont see what can be done, obviously banning them but you wont get them all and its hard to prove, Team cant walk off eveytime this happens, Russia has some really racist fans are teams gonna walk off everytime they play them in Europe?

Saw that Ba had a good start to life at CHelsea getting a couple of goals, it was only Southampton but stil I think he will be a success.

When someone is provoking you they want you to quit, they seek attention.

seems like italy and russia have some huge problems with racism which they need to sort out, i know it happens in most countries across europe but those two seem to be at the forefront of the issue

also did you guys hear/see the huge argument between balotelli and mancini? how long can mancini actually go on defending balotelli and forgiving his antics. he is a good player but not one which is irreplaceable, it's not like city don't have other good forwards to choose from. hopefully balotelli matures real quick and reaches his full potential.
