i said he tends to, i said everyone tends to now a days, this was in regards to that pin the tail on the donkey line where 2 people thought it meant two different things and all i said was 'Yeah, its a reach, and you can find a meaning to anything if you try hard enough"..he forces syllables, he's still the best out

I gave up on Em dropping an MMLP quality album a long time ago. Probably with Encore. It helped me to appreciate his latest albums more, althoug I really did not like Relapse. I did like Recovery thhough because it had some good, personal, introspective shit and some above average rapping. His scream rapping pissed me off though and I wished he would go a different direction.

Rap God to me is acceptable for a late in career Em. At least he is spitting again without screaming.

Now if we could get him to leave the corny lines alone

its the same thing as some people rather having sweet potato fries than regular fries.

its a matter of preference. you can understand it.

Why? SSLP showed me he could rap. But all the shit he was talkin bout just wasn't my taste. I prefer the "Eminem" character over "Shady". I loved Rock Bottom though.

I'm one of the big Eminem fans that realized he lost his style post 8 Mile all the way to Relapse.

Recovery wasn't the original Eminem that made me a fan, but it was acceptable and an aptly named album. Recovery definitely had some songs worth adding to his career catalog.

"Rap God", is probably the closest in 10 years that actually brought me back to that time. I dunno how any Eminem fan or former Eminem fan, can't appreciate this track. I really think he recaptured a piece of what made him dope in the first place with this song. Whether he puts it all together for MMLP2, we'll see.

Not sure why anyone is saying he doesn't have lyrics on this track. Only negative about this song is the beat. The flow switch ups and delivery are all impeccable. It's a pure hip hop track done to show what he's best at.

He went through a thug period where he put out music that was much worse than anything on Relapse or Recovery.
