DZK...I thought you were a cool dude could take some honest feed on what people feelt about your music. My intent was not to "OUT YOU" My intent was, why the hell did you write this so vague, Our flag reps US as a country not only who you seek to destroy.I am not a patriotic radical or anything. I do believe It's your right to hate on who runs this country but, whut i don't know is why you hate this country...patriot= one who loves his country...YOU DON"T>...then why are you here? I mean this is the only place were you can talk the way you do and get paid for it. I'm starting to think of you as a "wall". naw what mean? ARE You to good for the country america not the people that run it but, the country?
whats your deal man, i hate the people that run it too but, i don't hate this country. I don't look down on it, becuase some stupid ass wants middle east oil. Or wants to domante other countries. Or becuase ignorant white people inslaved blacks irrelelvant years ago, thats a long time to hold a grudge...and your not even black?<white boy wanting acceptance..i think so...thats just how it looks to me...behonest about it, i won't ask about it. You're talking of black power and your not black...It don't fit right in my head Sorry unlike these other people...I'ma say something if i think it makes nosense.
DZK>black power don't go together....Or should i say "black flag"
If it wasn't for america, germans would be having you shut the fuck up, skinny as kemokazie not allowing you to pick a pen up and write a fucking word.
I'm 22 dog not 13....you aren't the only one that has studied the political game, or followed the war. get over yourself.
And, trying to make politicians feel bad for slavery from many years ago..huh?
I ask you how does that change anything?...see you just keep makin no sense to me(you hate this country but, won't say it)...give the straight up answer? I thought you were a genius musically, I supported your shit. Theres no need for your PMS, and acting like a woman needing her estrogen. I do know whats going on in this country, so never talk down to me. That makes you look real rotten and i'll stop supporting you. I never attacked you once, I simply asked you for a real answer?
NO, nader never had a chance, yes this country is ruled by a two party lying system. But, dude wake up its always been like that. I'm down for you trying to speak on it and make a change...but this song just didn't seem to do that...try to understand what i am saying...thats all! get over your ego for one second...and see what i am saying!
communism- something Mr.jackson and the government have in common...Loving the control over mindless drones, If you have to wipe your ass on the flag to get it you'll do it. Cuase you love the power. I see that now
^thats my redefined difinition.
With all that said. I still think you are a talent, i just think you to vague and lazy on how you put this to together. Music is made to react i reacted...give me a honest answer,We both can move the fuck on and i'll bump the next track you put out, if i still think you are rapping about dumb shit that don't involve you i'll stop listening, all will be good.
THAT IS ALL MR. jackson!
Flow is ok. The "nahhhaa" in the hook is sicc.
Politically your wrong. I don't rap politics very adamently, but I would inform you heavily in a debate type of setting.
Anyways, give me a guest appearance kid.
pretty good track man
Wow! Where do I start? Songs like this is why I will never get a record deal. Excellent work. This is by far my favorite song of yours. Not sure if you know the difference between evangelical Christians (people who honestly use Jesus Christ as a template for their life) and Constantinian Christians (people who use religion to justify imperialistic endeavors and bend their 'faith' to the needs and whims of economic advances) but Cornell West does a better job than I ever could in his book "Democracy Matters." I think he says in the book what you were trying to say in this song.
Menaz, you weren't talking to me but it is in the opinion of this black man who started college as a political science major before moving on to less depressing matters, that this song's pulse is on point. I didn't take it as DZK trying to make up for the N bomb he dropped a month ago or gain black fans. We, like anybody else, respect skill. Larry Bird didn't have Magic's respect because he talked trash with the best of him. Bird was respected because he could flat out play basketball. DZK can fricking flow regardless of beat, tempo, or topic. Im not in his yahoo fan club group and I am not looking for him to do a feature on one of my tracks. I AM HAPPY THAT SOMEONE said what he said.
I made a track about BUSH during the months leading up the elections called 'Bush Shit' but that was attacking just one imperialistic administration. He attacks them all. This country's forefathers put down lofty ideals in the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence but NEVER put them into practice. They were two face cowards from the beginning. How can you say all men are created equal yet employ a system where some men, based on skin tone and a sick desire for profit at all cost.
That is what I thought DZK was attacking in this song. Capitalism when it puts more weight on the needs of big business and the economic elite than it does on the majority of its citizens. Your argument that he should be attacking the Confederate flag is flawed too. Would he not be even more susceptible to attacks and cries of self-hate and subjugation to African Americans. And don't get it twisted, if we are talking about attacking slavery, the north doesn't get a free pass. There were slaves in New York and Boston and in between even AFTER the Emancipation Proclamation.
I'm not a Communist. I'm not a Socialist. But we did a huge smear campaign on countries promoting those economic systems when the application of the systems deteriorated into despotism. If you look honestly at American in PRACTICE and not in theory (what our aged documents say we are) then you will see that our leaders are no better than Stalin or Marx.
Good job DZK. This is my new favorite track of yours. I will download this one.
first and foremost, song was dope, and I think you articulated your point of view quite nicely and rather clear.........lmao at the argument....
the above quote I only noticed cuz I live my life daily in that mind frame...100%
except I just can't articulate it as well as you and your music, I try, but I don't......
Freedoms in America were only a test, sooner or later anarchy will be our only hope.... I just hope you keep make'n us free music, don't sign a deal, and show more love to us Canuuuuucks... [dunno]
and tell me why you didn't like that Nirvana beat I sent you )
Liked the lyrics, very on point, but didn't care for the track overall. The verses were alright. To me, not really on par vocally as say Torcher II or Sickle & Hammer. Just my opinion. I still copped it though, lol. Put out your freggin album already so we can buy that shit, goddamit.
this is some good shit bro.....hook is ill as hell...lyrics are the truth....real sick concept....nice track yo
^ I would have no problem with you rapping about it, I just feelt dzk had no right. You're black right? guess what you just proved my point! This track was meant to gain the respect back. DZK'S has flaws like when saying, We are worthless and nothing matters.< (I agree in some degree, cuase we all have to die, so really whats the point.)But then if that is his feelings and beliefs why does he make music, why does he do anything at all?<feel me! He is marketing nothing more.
I think it is a good gimmick myself! Shit man, I enjoyed his other tracks on religion and politics but, I feel he is condurdicting himself here. Maybe the anger over weighed the brain cells. He was put here to raise hell and make music.<purpose! If anyone else made a track like this "YOU" would be catching feelings differently.
How can dzk call words meaningless, when words are the objective in hip-hop!
thats a total different disrespect! but ok(what ever) And dzk has morals or he be out murdering people.<kill someone dz show me life don't really matter. I just think half you guys just agree becuase he can spit better than anyone in here.
Listen i respect his music too, but I believe music was meant to be discussed
not just: hey dude that's a tight track beats dope, you killing this<those people are not listening! It took awhile for people to even hear him drop the N-bomb. If the lyrics weren't posted wouldn't no one bitched.(<personally i feelt he used it in a correct manner.)<but, i don't have a real right to decide that do I?<yesss you are seeing my point now!
listen, i'm glade you got a degree i'm glade you like dzk's tracks, i like them too...fuck even this discussion makes this track that much more dope.<not my intent. but it does.
Hey man...make a new thread somewhere else, if you want. lets, let dzk get his props. no more fucking this thread up, I hate when people do that to my thread when i drop music.<gets out of control fast! you know how immature people take shit the wrong way and tempers fly!
damn yea nice track, was feelin tha flow, laid back but still entertaining...
lyrics and shit solid, delivery most def polished...and quality and mix real nice....
i think only think i wasnt really diggin was that part in the hook where u on some "nahhhhh" tryna sing or sum shit? not sure...
to me.it sounded like a response from a fag if you offered him a vagina....
but maybe its just the tone lol...other then that lil shit....hot track shun....
? THA RIDD ?
did you just redefine communism when you obviously had no idea what communism is to start with?
this is def a nyce track, fuck all these ppl hatin... you have actually intelligent lines about our country instead of just sayin shyt u have no idea about, flow is on point the whole way thru, i dunno how u mix so good im havin trouble with that but it sounds like u got ur whole verse first take whole way thru or sumn.... chorus is the only thing i dunno if i was feelin tha whole way but these verses are def on point im glad there was a point to this track ... yep another good one... damn i still gotta holler at u soon about that dz, everything is taken care uv but i need to get a ride to veinna... blah... ill let u know whats good, u just keep dishin out bangers...
I can't help but feel a lot of the animosity aimed in your direction seems rather forced. Everything about the song was decent, rhyme scheme, flow, lyrics, content and concept. The people who force themselves to hate this are in denial or just simply jealous that they suck.
I'm embarassed of the heritage we carry as Americans
from the periods when we were considered the terrorists
I'm aware of it by the long stares comparing my
appearence to the blonde-haired aryan's wearing imperial grand wizard klan material
^^That's probably the dopest thing I heard in a long fucking time!..
Aside from everything else....
Menaz, who THE FUCK in God's name are you to govern what other people "have a right" to talk about?
This has nothing to do with the track...no one "has the right" to say what other people can make songs about...
Get off the comp and go make out with your ignorant ego some more you little bitch.
hib u dumb cock
ok listening...... dont like this beat, but anyway. this is quite a nice track, i agree with most of the things you saying. some really nice lines, didnt feel the signing on the chorus though, but apart from that, a nice track. keep on keeping on!!
return the fav-
Nice track right here...
Actually beena while since i been around here, listenin to tracks, but let me just say your stuff haven't gotten worse, lol..
Anyways.. Not too much to say.,. this thing was very solid. lyrics, flow, delivery, etc. No complains.
Got time/feel like it, check this sh!t out:
Thanks in advance.
Yes I'm black. This is the song I refereed to in my earlier post.
