but I changed it up.. doing 180 on a bar behind the back for 4 sets of 15.

watch me break 200 this week...

    shit is better.

Today is lower body day!!! Weeeeeeeeeee. Squatting is too good. I seriously need an olympic bench and squat rack, or a gym membership. One or the other.

oh come on.. tell me you're not actually outside a gym.

I paid for the year.. it was like 280 for the year..

that's like what? 28 a month or so?

I'm gonna be bigger than you son until you hit a real gym.

btw, it ran me 200 for a bench with leg attachments and another 150 for full olympic bar and weights.

so 350 out the door and you'd have a full bench + enough to start legs.

I have no idea how much a squat rack costs.

at home, fuck, I only have push up bars and dumbells to 60 lbs for when I'm bored and wanna watch my arms get bigger.

it's expensive to get all the shit you get at a gym though.

it seems like a good idea.

i thought so.. then I get to buying 40lb dumbells at 30 bucks a piece... 40 bucks for 50+.. shit's no joke.

6 dumbells sitting in my room paid for my year :p

I've got a bench at home, and a Weider machine, and some dumbbells.. My friend's dad has an olympic bench, squat rack, and 4 or 5 other devices with about 3 olmypic weight sets that he doesn't touch anymore. So I may cop those for a deal, or just go get the membership at the 24 hour Peak Fitness near me, haven't decided which route I'm going yet. Leaning more towards the gym, unless I get a real nice deal on the olympic shit my friend has.

I love working traps.. it's kinda the coolest visible muscle, IMO. here's some:

    upright rows
    behind the back barbell shrugs
    wide grip barbell shrugs
    front barbell shrugs
    side dumbell shrugs

overhead pressing movements will work the traps too, but more secondary.

Squats work the traps REAL good, if you squat without cushion like me.

    monday - pull exercies

    Deadlifts or Power Cleans 5x5
Barbell Rows, Dumbbell Rows, or Wide Grip Chins 5x5
Barbell Curls, Close Grip Underhand Chins, or Hammer Curls 5x5

    wednesday - push exercises

Incline or Flat Barbell or Dumbbell Bench Press 5x5
Barbell or Dumbbell Shoulder Presses 5x5
Tricep Dips or Close Grip Bench Press 5x5

    friday - leg exercises

    Front or Back Squats 5x5
Barbell or Dumbbell Stiff Leg Deadlifts 5x5
    Calf Raises 3x12
Weighted Crunches or Weighted Hanging Leg Raises 3x12

that was my workout plan before i broke my leg. a great workout for gaining mass and its only for natural bodybuilders. i use 5x5 which i think is the best for building mass. i never fuck with 8, 10 or 12 reps. except for calf raises or crunches. i can only pick and choose what i can do now. i can manage some things but i dont wanna lift while balancing on one foot as i'll damage my back. my friend has been spotting me and has been helpful and the staff at the gym have been great too.
