The turning point for me. Was a few years back, I was 21 I think. My friend and I were drinking at her place, then went to the club. For whatever reason afterwords we ended up going to some dudes house...she flashed her tits and a bunch of guys asked if we were lesbians....then a few offered for us to go to their place. We ended up going to this one, and I really couldn't tell you what happened after. We had a few drinks there.....and next thing I knew we were sitting in this room with the lights out----I can remember that NOTHING happened (no I swear, nothing did. Well with me anyway, I think my friend fucked one of the dudes---I really couldn't tell you lol). I think the most that happened is I flashed my tits. Not a huge deal. Then I blacked out and remember it being 6:30am. I got my ass home....I didnt' go out for almost a year after that LOL

I dunno if they had something in the drink either. Cuz I was puking the next morning and felt soooooo ILL I've never felt like that before.

I'm not the only one :frown:

    But since you asked...[lips]

I guess the start was when I was mixed up in an abusive relationship...then some guy started making eyes at me and I guess I realized that I didn't have to settle...Moved out of the house I was renting with the abusive guy and started dating the new guy...He turned out to be an alcoholic and drug addict (I can pick em good huh)...after we broke up (he cheated on me) I still hung out with his cusin and cusin in law (does that work like that?). The girl was an alcoholic and the guy was an addict and by that time I was getting high with him. Spent about a year an a half with them and messed up most of the time. Someplace I learned that comming down was a lot easier if I had a few drinks and I wouldn't jones as hard if I was drunk so I started carrying a small bottle of whisky with me. Shoot straight from the bottle and chase it with coke (the drink haha)...Got arrested on night for "disorderly conduct". I honestly did nothing wrong, its a long story but the good ol' boy system worked for the group of rednecks that night and against the yankee (me). I was actually siting on the porch when the cops came 'cause I didn't want to be involved...anyway, it was tossed out by the judge once the pieces were put together but I still had to call my mom to bail me out of jail...the next day I got a good talking to by my parents and a computer...logged online that night and spend the next year drunk on whisky and on the computer...when I met Husaband I was an alcoholic. I'd carry a bottle with me and sneak a swig every so often just to keep that buzz on...don't know why Husband (then Boyfriend) put up with it but he did...took about a year after meeting him that I quit drinking. Not sure why I quit just wasn't working anymore for me I guess...

Now I can take it or leave it. I don't binge and I don't even smoke anymore.

No, drinking got old. I got to the point where it was sickening rather than theraputic. It only took a few times where I got drunk and then sick for me to stop. All of a sudden I lost my taste for it. Havn't drank Whisky since. Usually go for Gin and OJ or Cosmos, wine, Neroni...more social drinks than drinking for just getting drunk...

Smoking was well into our relationship. He tried to quit but used me as an excuse. So I decided to 'show him' and I quit while he was smoking. That was in 2000. He is still smoking BTW but can't use me as an excuse any more HA!

I tend to get very addicted to things then just drop them. I did it with coffee, tea, smoothies, diet coke...then one day I loose the taste for them and move on.

I would love to drop my addiction to porn, but I'm too weak... maybe if I was living a porn star's life, then I'd grow tired of it? But since it's fantasy and I don't get those things reenacted, that's what makes it so compelling... like deep throats and swallowing, if I got that everyday, I wouldn't have to watch porn.

I binge on candy every so often... I used to have a thing for ice cream, but now I think I don't like it as much... I bought a half gallon about 2 weeks ago and it's still half full... back in the day, it woulda been gone in 2 or 3 days.

True that... but you were 21, lesson learned... I did some things in my youth that would make Magic Johnson blush.

Yeah, I know. But I was still a mother (only one son then) and married. Tisk tisk. Shame on me. But like I said, lesson learned lol.

That's good that you monitor your behavior as a mother... it seems like quite a few mothers don't do that... I just think when you have a child, certain behavior is unacceptable and inappropiate... your kid shouldn't have to suffer for your foul rep, just speaking in general.

Nothing wrong with porn. We have a draw full LOL...I thought you were married? She wont reenact things with you...I'd LOVE it if my husband suggested that...but I guess I am a little odd when it comes to that stuff.

As a mother I don't think behaviour like that is acceptable at all. Which again, it has never happened. My kids have never seen me drink, or drunk. Never that. I think when you are a mother there are certain things you can and can't do. That doesn't mean you can't go out and enjoy yourself. Lord knows all mother's need that break at some point. But doesn't mean you gotta bring that shit into your home, and have your children witness anything of the sort.

Nah, I mean, she's worn the French maid outfit for me, but all of the freaky, deaky nasty, XXX-rated, 2 Live Crew stuff she won't do for me... threesomes are out of the question... I would like to have a harem for a few months to a year... but tight-eyes thinks that is misogynistic... just for a little while and then I'll go back to normal.

Exactly... you give up certain liberties as a parent. The problem is that too many young girls are having kids early and so they're going through their childhood while their kids are growing up... once you have a kid, childhood ceases... all of the stupid, immature shit needs to cease. I guess I miss the days when moms were like June Cleaver or Claire Huxtable.

Yeah. See I'd love to be like June Cleaver and Claire Huxtable. Really, that would be a goal for me as a Mom lol. However, this day and age it doesn't happen often, if at all.

I do my best to be a good mom. But we all have our flaws. But I certianly never continued to be a "child" after having my kids at 17. I instantly became an adult, and mother. I wouldn't change it for the world! :D

My cousin tho, she had her first at 16. She wasn't with the father, met a new guy while preggo. He took care of her, and her baby as if she were his own. The little girl calls him Dad. They had another when she was 18. Now he has custody of both kids and she's a lesbian out having fun living on her own. Being the "kid" she never got to be. Sad really. Cuz for the first year or so of being a mother she was EXCELLENT! A great mother. Then started hanging out with friends again and BAM, instant child came back. I applaud her ONLY because she can't handle her kids now. So she knows it's better they're with their dad. But it's still so sad and heart breaking (
