In terms of fast food, is McDonalds one of the most recognizable brands in the universe? Have they not achieved that they are the best fast food restaurant in the world? Does not every single kid and adult not know the the golden arches?

    You determine success by consumerism.

If you can sit here and say McDonalds has not monopolized the fast food market then you are simply dunce.

Yes Bobs random corner burger shack may taste better, but on a global scale Bob's doesn't even exist thus their product doesn't reach enough people to even contend.

Because the local guys love Bob's burgers doesn't mean jack shit in the grand scheme of things.

Food that causes cancer in rats is the best food because it's set to be the most ubiquitous.

Ubiquitous now. It didn't just appear though. It too started from one restaurant and because of it's success is now globally one of the most recognizable brands in the world.

I wasn't even talking about McDonalds in that post you quoted, I was talking about genetically modified crops that no longer have to be clearly listed and marked as such in commercially available food products, due to deregulation and lobbying. The fact that you just assume McDonalds also causes cancer in rats shows what you really think of it and that your own mind is at odds with itself in championing garbage as the heights of human excellence.

There's no way to explain how one feels waking up to this. There really isn't.

Drake is the MC Hammer of his generation... the only difference is that he continues to do collabos with respected artists.... this is the new rap music culture.

Commercially successful, with an R&B sensibility, with no respect from purists... see Hammer in the early '90s.

drake can rap though, I mean I don't much care for his music but he has skill.....Hammer was a dancer with a 500k a day posse.....the level of success is not really equal, and hammer made pumps and a bump.....

I wasn't comparing their rapping skills or styles or any of that... just how they're received in hip hop.

The hatred for Drake is about as strong as it was for Hammer... except, there aren't too many rappers calling him out, unlike with Hammer... nobody has balls to do it except for Common... Hammer is tougher than Drake, though... Hammer approached everyone who talked about him.

Hammer was sensitive like Drake... making songs like "Have You Seen Her?"... I can't front... I used to like that shit.

Hammer also attempted a hardcore comeback, though... that was laughable... remember "It's All Good"? He took a cool street saying and made it corny... Will Smith did the same thing with "Gettin' Jiggy Wit It"... after that, it became no longer cool to say "jiggy."

Talent-wise? Yeah, okay... but that wasn't really my comparison... it was about how they're perceived across the hip hop fan spectrum... Commercially? Drake is not even in the same hemisphere as Hammer was... the first solo rapper to go diamond.
