Purple Belt - 2 Stripe..
Who Else Trains?
fsho, blue belt, sponsored by brazil combat.
where do you train? under who?
How much do you guys pay for it. I want to take it, but most of the places are fairly expensive and require me to sign a contract.
you live in chicago? its kind of expensive out there but there are some really nice schools. every gym is different. let me know and i can recommend some pretty good schools out there
Thanks, I'll let you know. right now I think I'm about to join a boxing gym and keep doing judo.
I'd like to. I've learned a few submissions from second hand sources and videos, but I'd love to get something more personal.
7 months white belt goin strong. before i started i use to watch videos and have people show me shit too but then i found out it all meant nothing because i didnt learn how to actually do them when sparring. i recommend it to everyone it fun as hell. im thinkin bout competing but i dont wanna get my ass kicked. any of yall compete?
Street Sports Sherman Oaks.. under Chris Lisciandro 1st degree black who is under Renato Magno 4th degree black
i've done the gracie nationals, Pan americans, North Americans, and American Nationals..!
dope, i love to see that others on her train as well!
congrats by the way, and thats a great way of displaying your medals. what is that exactly? thats not a t shirt in the case with the medal is it?
i never thought of doing that with my medals, i just kind of have them all laying on a desk in a room. i am definitely going to do this
I had no idea that rm had so many martial artists.
yes those are the tee shirts you get @ the tourneys.. My coach actually has bigger frames with the t shirt.. open almost all the way.. with the medal and plack with the place and type of medal.. i aint got that type of $$$$ ... lol.. but i desided to do it more to my budget.. i went to Michaels Art Supply and the frames were 20 bucks! so thats how that popped..
haha awesome thats a great idea thanks
White belt. lol. but i never go to Gi class. im thinking about doing it more because i want to compete in some grappling tournies.
dope. you should man, you dont necessarily have to do gi to compete in grappling tournies though. most of them have gi and no gi divisions but its way more fun to compete in both. i love gi way more. for some reason im way better in gi than in no gi
good stuff @ the medals
i dont wear a gi sooo.. umm.... whitebelt i guess haha
to everyone else with regards to Gi & No Gi...
you really need to do both.. but i would start off in Gi.. why? because that is where all the technique is... think of all the best No Gi fighters in world.. they all started in Gi..
all do Gi... if you have a chance to do Gi.. do it.. if you have a chance to do both... Do them both...
How much do you guys pay for BJJ per month? I found a place by me, but it is 200 bucks a month. Is that normal?
Separate names with a comma.
