    Yes, yes he did.

If you've seen/read "The Shining" this is the continuation.

I'm also iffy when it comes to Stephen King, some things I like... some... not so much; this one is solid though since I think "The Shining" is an American classic.

i loved the shining (as well as both movies- remake and original)

of his books ive read, I hated IT( i liked the movie till the end when it got super stupid with the giant spider), tommyknockers book and movie were terrible(that shit was retarded, would have walked out of it at the theatre if everyone else woulda come with me)

but yeah hes hit and miss Id rather it stay a book. I dont think the movie needs a sequel.

id like to read his gunslinger shit

If you liked the Shining then Doctor Sleep is a must read. I do not believe that there will be a movie, without Kubrick it would not be the same.

Gunslinger is a good series. It starts off a little slow in Dark Tower but even that book gets better as you read it -- and it the slow start prepares you for the rest.

    I hated IT the book.

I started reading Stephen King when I was a teenager. I liked most of his stuff, at least until he had his accident, then he kinda got weird(er) and long winded/boring.

    Still a fan, though.
