Both of their advantages though, sub you can hear the passion and excitement in the japanese voice actors voice

I think I prefer dubbed though, you don't have to read so much and you can focus more on the visual graphics and sounds/music..it's more relaxing

Only time I watch subbed anime is when it's an anime that's not dubbed yet ( usually with the newer releases )

Usually subbed because I tend to watch things before a dub comes out (if a dub ever does come out). I'll usually check out a dub of something I like when it comes out though.

Not always..there are some cases when the dubbed version is better than the subbed version, for instance the Anime "Baccano". The english voice actors had an authentic 1920's/30's new york accent and it was impressive

    Subbed.

The Japanese approach it with artistry.

id rather it be subbed, but thats because 90% of the time the dubbing is horrible. emotionless or cheesy voices that dont usually fit the character....

but if its good dubbing id go with that

Oh my, I haven't watched anime in so long.

Both to be honest. I have a hearing problem, so if it's in English I still need subtitles.

My favorite is Airmaster and the voice quality was so good you could hardly tell the difference between English and Japanese. Watching Gunslinger Girl it upset me to no end that the subtitles didn't match the English translation.

Still, in other licensed vids like 4kids with Shaman King or Ultimate Muscle, I honestly quite enjoyed the liberties taken with changing things around.

there are a few exceptions. afro, obviously. naruto i didn't mind. dbz was better dubbed. cowboy bebop and trigun excellent dubs.

but for the most part, subbed is the only way to watch animes.

The subbed ones are far superior if you aren't too lazy to read, but I'm lazy.

    Lol@ one thread.

locking threads in this forum is stupid. It's no where near active enough for that. I see plenty from last year I could reply in right now.
