Damn, at alcohol and aftershave.
As weird as it sounds, I used the same stuff I use to exfoliate my face: Suave's Apricot Scrub. I was told like this: Your bikini area is just as sensitive as your face, and you should treat it as such.
oh! shaving cream helps too.
try it out and keep us posted!
@ Purp: beauty = pain lol
[funny] I love that
aww I'm nervous now...it feels like a test! and I haven't studied!!!
^^ lol...this is your midterm in Vanity 101...you have to wax your Va J-J and report back with the results, stat!
@Leila: sally henson's huh? I used their home eyebrow waxing kit once and has disastrous results (luckily nothing permanent)...I've never sugared...maybe I'll try it...I'm scared lol
Damn. That's like that chocolate 'kiss me' pussy. Hand-designed for lacy panties.
Va J-J [funny]
Never waxed. But I do shave it bald. The odd time I'll let the landing strip grow in. But I rather be smooth and bald. I'm gonna try that anti razor burn tip I think---some days it happens, some days I'm lucky. But on the unlucky days---good fucking lord! The things we do...haha.
I'd love to get the hair removal as well.
Marie, sugaring, tbh.
To be quite honest I don't think I could do it....really harmless? Waxing of any sort kinda freaks me out. If you can give your word it's harmless and has no pain. I'd give it a go.
I tried SH for my eye brows and that was a mess. I could never do it again. Maybe I just didn't have the patience for it? Or I'm too lazy. Either or I suppose.
Anyone ever get the brazilian? If so, how was that like?
Try it with your legs first. You'll love it!
I've never had a Brazilian done by a pro (you're supposed to the first time). Honestly, I hate hot wax (so messy/gross) and sugaring that area at home works well for me.
Do you have to have the hair a certain length?
I just might look into this. Anything that's pain free, I'm game! )
Pain Free???????? Really?
Yeah, it has to be long enough for the sugar wax and cloth to attach on... You'll know what a mean after you have a little experience with it. I shave if I want to be smooth between sugaring sessions.
LA-DIES! There is pain... A lot of it. You're ripping, RIPPING, tiny hairs out by the root.
BUT, the pluses:
1.) It grows back thinner and thinner. =) x infinite. And I know someone who... does not have much hair there anymore, tbh.
2.) The smoothness.
3.) You stay hairless much longer than shaving.
ill kiss it and make it better
Yeah I shave it, I don't think I could ever wax... waaay too painful
I'd love to try the sugar waxing recipe...i just don't trust myself enough to do it myself lol
Honestly, that wouldn't even help. Commando...
idk, I've had accidents while shaving down there that have been absolutely terrifying. Sugaring hurts but it's pretty much foolproof.
hahaha, I feel you. Have it professionally done the first time and ask for advice on technique, etc. And then you can safely try it at home. Oh, and try it with your legs first.
Okay so I was wondering how it could be painless. But it makes sense there is a bit of pain. I hate waxing I really do---the whole trying to rip knowing what's coming next and knowing that it's ME doing it, so I go so slow as not to hurt myself LMAO. But I'll try this on my legs for a bit and see. The whole thinning of the hair and making it less and less is enough to convince me!!
yeah, I was endorsing it a little too much.
I used to feel that way. I never thought I would do it, but I've been doing it for over two years now and it's just great.
Yeah, it's really hard, especially in the beginning... But I hate hair so much and razors... I'm not a fan.
Yes! That's the best reason I think, too.
how...very informative, this thread.
