Who else is hyped for it? It's been getting hate because they changed Dante's appearance and have made alterations to other characters.

Here's a taste of the game. Doesn't have that annoying music, though.

i'm with the majority on his new look. why beat the dante horse to death anyway? should have made a game about vergil or something. DMC4 was proof that dantes personality has nothing to do with making the character interesting. nero was the exact same character except he actually had a reason to fight and that switch never got the same treatment that raiden vs snake did with MGS2.

IMO the only way this game will be good is if it's challenging. if it's another hideki kamiya hack and slash shithole that holds your hand through the whole experience then just expect it to be 'just another 2012 action game'.

Demo was amazing, will be the best since DMC 1 and 3

It's a new dante for a new generations, old heads need to get over it tbh. his hair turns white as his new devil mode, so it's set before anything we've seen, and probably a complete re imagining anyway. From the demo it's fun to play, and the new voice acting and story telling is leaps above the previous ones

If the story was long I'd get it.

Otherwise I'm not interested enough to spend the half a bill.

Anyone have an hour-count on the Storyline?

Or estimation on how long it took them to beat?

I'm running Hitman Absoluion right now and I have a feeling its coming to an end soon.

    Thanks for letting me know.
Much more can't be expected I guess,
I just may pick this up when it is in a bargain bin.

Well, I bought it new and I can't say that I regret doing so. It has a pretty good replayability. The combat mechanics are such that you probably won't be that good on your first time through, so combat will feel more satisfying on subsequent playthroughs.

Plus, Bloody Palace DLC drops soon and will be free.
