i guess i look at recycling different. i can see someone using a written verse in a battle, even if it was for a track or something. if its his best bars i dont blame him for using them in a battle, im sure thats exactly the kind of thing someone who writes battle themed lyrics like lets say big l would have done. but you just cant use the same verse to win multiple battles. i guess its not 'recycling' the rhyme by using it somewhere else besides the battle, but its 'recycling' as in hey he already won other battles using these same lines kind of thing

This was a sub-par performance from Iron. But he still took it imo.

Flamez' delivery is poor at best, and he lacked any kind of confidence when he spit. Some people like the way lines are rapped.

Since This Was a Battle, Iron Won. But Lyrically and Mechanically Flamez Easily Had The Better Verses. I Mostly Only Watch This Battle To Hear Flamez Shit.

"In a war with toast? he won't hold the lama straight
Plus his own momma say; he's sweeter then a orchid rose
Pass that weed to the boss cause homes? he's plain
Me? Flamez. and I rap as deep as a coffin goes
Before I scorch his soul, ask em how it feel....
To still have a breathe in his body when the coffin close
You wanna speak to God? or try to call your folks?
To tell em that you need a job to help you buy some normal clothes"

"You afraid to take a polygraph, I'm like Hussein
Who's playin'? - two planes will make your lobby crash"

"Find em laid stiff in the same shit
with two blades I through straight to cut his top in half
Shit happens when you lose faith in the god you have"

    "Top dogs, consecutive skill
Take a minute to pop off, not more then a second to kill"

"Stay in touch with your inner truth
Or one piece will put your front teeth right in front of your wisdom tooth"

I definitely agree with you here, but so long as it isn't ridiculously excessive, (I'll admit, watching it back Iron is definitely pushing the boundaries there)
if one still completely outperforms his opponent, I give it to them.

yeah, no, but the difference, for me, is, take gun talk on one side, and everything other than gun talk on the other, and theres a vast difference as to the wealth you can dip into when building your rhymes.

one dude says nine mili sparkin clear the park whatever

other geezers describing in detail a day that saw you mother cut her own ears off in order to prevent hearing the descusting way in which dudes gonna use batterys and condoms to make crude bombs that he's then going to drop on all your favourite resteraunts, thus forcing you to cook you lazy bitch, get in the kitchen

    etc etc etc

plus i hate guns and have never held one, its pretty much a later on from me if i hear of one, with one important exeption, but he was who he was.

guns kill people, i just want to punch some cunt in the nose with my fuckin fist

    Yes, I did.
Like other dude said, Solomon came directly at Flamez. Sol couldn't spit that verse against anyone else and have it work. Flamez could spit that verse in every single battle for the rest of his life and have it work...

murda mook and arsonal refer to their recycling verses as their 'go-to bars'

mook admitted that he recycled that 'u shoulda signed with them al quada guys/suicide' verse more than 7 times on the streets

only 2-3 of them are on youtube...mook said in one of his blogs that those were his go to bars...ppl came up and challeneged him on the street to a one verse battle and he killed them with that verse

arsonal killed hollow and trex with the same verse

recycling aint as bad as ppl make it out to be...nowadays the rapper that recycles most is dizaster...and no one hates on him...rapmusic dickriding...it never gets old

Yeah, I was pointing out that Solomon DID use generic shit but since his content was more relevant to his opponent more so them Flamez, I give it to Solomon.

Flamez won, people don't know how to judge battles.

It's a RAP battle. whoever RAPS better wins. I don't care if you rap about the teapot dome scandal. If the other person is wack he doesn't automatically win just cuz he mentioned you. LMAO

So AZ could be undefeated if he just spit the verse on Life's A Bitch every battle?

    ya its a RAP BATTLE

    them 2 things together means

to win u have to combine, content, flow, schemes, originality, delivery, rapping ability, relevance...

u can't just win a battle on one thing smh, UR whats wrong with the scene if u think thats the case...

Granted.....But Solomon wasnt wack.. I dont agree...In a battle between lets say You and Inspectah Deck...are you saying that if Inspectah Deck used his verse in "Triumph" he'd automatically beat you? I think not.

In a rap BATTLE, you have to focus on your opponent. Granted you have to rap well, but it has to stay relevant. Cant just kick a verse you wrote a few weeks ago for a track.
