So Souljah Boi,Nicki Minaj and all those wakk industry heads write Mark Twain novels? You DO realize that you have to write 48 bars if you spit a whole song solo, battle acapella in the battle leagues or even on the streets, etc? If you limit yourself to 16 bars tops? That limits your skill and growth.

What happened to lyricists who actually know about lyricism, have plenty of bars and...LYRICS? How can you enter battle and wanna be a champ but only insist on fighting 4 rounds [ and you're NOT Butterbean? ] 16 bars are for people who are 1/3 the lyricist it takes to write a song on your own...acapella or on a track. If that's where you are? Then cool respect everybody needs to grow no matter how good they are...but imho 48 bars should be STANDARD.
