Yeah the Pistons got him knowing he was going to be a project and not ready to contribute. Plus the pick was from another team so they could afford the gamble of taking a project instead of taking somebody who was ready to play and might be expecting to play...

Chemistry disruption. I'm not say Wade is a poison but they probably wouldn't be contenders that they are.

it would be really intersting to see Wade there right now. but thats knowing what he can do. if they had taken him he may not even have play'd for a year knowing Brown.

^^^ he wouldnt be a susperstar if they had drafted him....but the Pistons would mos def be unstoppable....their only weak spot is depth at PG....Wade would've fillen that void....

But wade there would have been a dig at billups and hamilton.

Billups wouldn't be balling like he is now if Wade was in D-town.

It's kinna like, since Wade was in Miami, with Shaq, but still be the feature player he could blossom and grow.

Whereas in Detriot, all the guards might have been stifled.

Like Hamilton, who had just come from a situation with Jordan etc, and Billups who spent a year with Brown transforming his games.

It's really hard to say, but I'm pretty sure they would all be lesser players than they are now.

They would have a better bench.
