here is something from ESPN Insider

    INTERESTED
    Dolphins
    Chiefs

<Mar. 16> The Dolphins are keeping close tabs on Law, but won't seriously pursue him until his contract demands come down, the Palm Beach Post reports.

After playing for the discounted price of $2.5 million after foot surgery, the 32-year-old cornerback is looking for his final big payday in guaranteed money.

"I'd say around $10 million," Law has said.

The Chiefs are also interested in Law, who was released by the Jets in a salary-cap move. Law, a five-time Pro Bowler, visited both Miami and K.C. last offseason before signing with New York.

unless Ronnie Brown has a monster season, I honestly don't see Culpepper improving Miami much at all.

    Daunte Culpepper fucking sucks....

unless the dolphins get randy moss, culpepper of old doesn't exist. I said for too long all that lousy fuck does is lob balls up and moss goes fetch. Ugliest passes in the history of the game.

He'll increase the turnover numbers though. That's something to look forward to.

    that made no sense man...

honestly u need to start lookin at the fins with realistic vision instead of this rose colored nonsense.

the fins were 9-7 last year for a reason

they missed the playoffs for a reason

and right now, if u really think culpepper is gonna come back and be that much better than frerotte then ur losin it

culpepper's slowly becoming bledsoe without the cannon arm

because he's gonna look like a friggin punching bag next year when he cant scramble out of pocket cuz of his knee and he ends up getting sacked more than david carr cuz of that horrible o-line u got.

face it, adding an injured qb to your roster doesnt make u better. ur still the same old miss-the-playoffs dolphins. minus dan marino.

i hate people who say that.. you know when daunte had his best season and one of the best ever for a QB was when randy moss was injured and ineffective for like half of the season?

if you take out moss' stats from that 2004 season, daunte had 3950 yards and 26 TDs... thats without his number 1 reciever, so please... did kerry collins become the best QB this season with moss on his team?

and everyone talks about his fumbles, but how bout we talk about fumbles LOST, isn't that what really matters? if you add fumbles lost and take those as the same as interceptions his career adjusted QB rating would sitll be 92.6, which is a little below Payton Manning's adjusted career rating of 94.3, but is above Carson Palmer (90.9). Gus's 2005 adjusted rating is 69.9. Marino's career adjusted rating is 86.7...

not to mention we went 9-7 with gus last year completing like 52% of his passes... while culpeppers career completion % of 64.4 is the second best in the history of the league... and he doesn't play in some dink and dunk west coast offense, he played in a verticle offense and still completed that kinda %... its fucking insanity...

see then obviously you dont know what your talking about... dolphins offensive line gave up the 5th least amount of sacks in the league behind the likes of indy, denver, atl, etc... not to mention 4.5 ypc for both ronnie brown and ricky williams in the running game...

and we have a young ass line, so they are only going to improve, this will be hadnots and carey's second full year starting... james solidified himself as a quality LG last year... we bring in LJ Shelton who now with the teaching of the best Oline coach in hudson houck will be a big upgrade over macintosh at LT, and we have a few options for our RG or C spot depending on where we put hadnot...

our line will be better than last year...

and if you dont think a 65% completion rate will improve on a 52% completion rate we had last year, your insane... that leads to a greater YPA and thats one of the most important stats for a QB... everyone talks like culpepper last year was so horrible, it was 2 games... first 2 games he had 8 picks, after that he was 6tds 4ints... and this is all with a new offensive system and an incohesive oline who lost their anchor and didn't have much familiarity with each other... it took them about half the season to start to gel...

and now we'll have culpepper back in the system that he excelled in under scott linehan... im not saying hes gonna be the greatest QB of all time or nothing... but if you dont think he'll improve the team over gus frerotte your crazy... and we had 9 wins last year... its only going to improve...

and we have a pretty easy schedule this year, damn i forgot about that... i think we play like 9 games against teams with first time coaches (2x jets, 2x bills, lions, GB, KC, Minny, detroit, houston) shit make that 10 games...

we're ready to roll into the playoffs baby

    But still... Daunte Culpepper sucks.

    everyone knows that.

But wtf @ the dolphins... they were just begging for a shitty broken down qb that can't throw. They were wanting McNair.... then Culpepper.... their management is horrible.

Culpepper won't help them any. Dude's garbage.

but he still sucks? what are you basing his sucking on?

and how is a 29 year old QB with ligament tears in his knee broken down and cant throw? now if we got brees that would make sense with his shoulder problems... but players come back from knee ligament tears all the time...

do you even know anything about football?

^^i'ma have to hire TK as head of my PR deparment[funny]

in his 6 seasons as a starter, culpepper has only had 1 bad season(shortened by injury), and one mediocre season. the rest he's been the man.

^^when moss got hurt nate burleson took over and had 1,000 yrds... and culpepper was still the man... the reason his season was bad this year is because of the vikings offensive line fuckin up ya dig... dey had liike 2 or 3 of dem hurt, had to put in a rookie and back up guard, along wit a back up center, and the pressure caused him to throw interceptions, but he was still gettin good yards, just the sacks and ints because of the lack of protection
