I'll start it off...
never knew jules was a cover
original is pretty dope
Dmac, I definitely agree with that Barenaked Ladies cover being much better than the original; however I preferred the Band of Horses's original more than Cee Lo's version. I think the arrangement was too similar too differentiate it from the original; and I actually prefer the vocal from Band of Horse's more for this type of song than Cee Lo's.
Chamillionaire covered a bunch of shitty radio joints on Mixtape Messiah 3 but I don't remember what they are, can't remember any other ones atm either smh
By definition of cover can it just be sampling the song and flipping it, or does it have to be exactly the same word for word?
this wee lassie is gonna be big in a few years, her voice on this song is immense and she still only 15.
@Philatit That's not a cover, that's just rapping over somebody else's beat. LOL
@Rasko I had no idea Wilson Pickett remade that song. I still prefer the Archie's "Sugar Sugar" simply because it's more memorable as a fun, pop song. I think making it a more serious, soul song takes the best qualities of what made the original stand out.
@Padwan Wow, I never heard of "The A-Team". That song is great. Once again, I still preferred the original. Birdy sung it well and has the stronger voice, but Ed Sheeran's voice better complimented this type of song IMO. I'm definitely downloading the original song.

the entire nirvana unplugged.
You Give Love A Bad Name
I think the Beatles were great musician's and fantastic songwriters, however I always felt their vocals were one of their weak-points; so covers for their songs have always sounded better to me.
Case in point:
I believe both of these covers were better
1st Cover Version
2nd Cover Version
Separate names with a comma.
