either when you create the document near the bottom , usually under width and height

or once u have a blank document change in the image size.

I'm assuming, but its been forever since I even said the phrase Photoshop 7.

Or you could just pay me to do it so that you know its done right.....and amazingly I may add.

try measuring a CD cover with a ruler... don't create the template in Photoshop, do it in InDesign. The graphics/imagery are done in photoshop, keep all the text in InDesign... unless of course you're doing something funky with the main titles that only Photoshop can do.

120mm x 120mm for the CD cover... I work for a print/design company and we like 3mm bleed (and crop marks if applicable)

for the back cover... in InDesign, set your new document up with the following:

    Page Size:
    Width: 150.02mm
    Height: 117.475

    Margins:
    Left: 6.35
    Right: 6.35

Bleed (top, Bottom, Left and Right): 3mm

    Columns: 1
    Gutter: 0mm

    everything else:0mm

    sorted!
