We all have beliefs one way or another. Whether they are religious or just that the sky is blank color for blank reason. Just my opinion though but I think Atheism being a religion depends on the individual. For example I have a friend that probably would consider himself an atheist because he doesn't believe in God or any higher beings but that's pretty much it. He doesn't follow anyone or study about it he just doesn't believe in it. I wouldn't consider him a part of a religion. Sort of like I don't believe in Santa Claus and don't spend any time or effort trying to disprove him. I just don't believe in him. I've seen others that devote their lives to disproving God or any higher power and follow people like Hitchens, Dawkins etc and seem to devote an enormous amount of time and effort to this. That is different from just being into science and as a result not believing in a higher power. These people based on the definition above I consider to be a part of an "Anti-Religion Religion".
