What ive learned from alias and coup is that people want to be able to identify with God. and that if it makes you feel better to do so i guess i dont have a problem with it. its only when u try and interpret something in a specific lens, many times thats not the only that gets skewed in the process. i wonder tho, if God was asian, would alias have as much gusto to accept something his unrenewed man might take issue with Or is it the race thing that fuels the gusto. idk. either way the bible says: Romans 11:11So I ask, did they stumble in order that they might fall? By no means! Rather through their trespass salvation has come to the Gentiles, so as to make Israel jealous. Luke 20:16 He will come and kill those tenants and give the vineyard to others." When the people heard this, they said, "God forbid! Romans 11:14 in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them. So id bet the idea is not wether one can identify with a particular group as much as it is to have our identity in him, no matter what group u happen to reside.
