Whats the point of life if its already blueprinted? There would be no point in living and learning, prob why so many christians don't believe in evolution ^^

I don't like how you worded the options
it sounds kinda like youre asking if id fight someone to the death over it

If that's what youre asking, no I would not kill someone for not believing what I do.

but if youre asking if im happy with what I believe and if im confident ill be ok when I die? yes. Im 100% confident god isn't a pyscho.

Religion or lack thereof is a very silly thing to die over.

Never mind...I see what you're saying. Since I try to live my life guided by skepticism and healthy rationalism, then probably. I would never rule out the existence of a God 100%, though. I think it's highly, highly unlikely, but I can't prove he doesn't; just as we can't prove Russell's celestial teapot.

I guess atheists are already putting their "life" on the line in a sense...if we're wrong then we burn forever in eternity. That's quite a bit of conviction.

That's the difference between the religious mind and the mind of the skeptic. Religious followers know that God exists. Atheists, the reasonable ones at least, will cede that since we cannot disprove God, then there is still a chance for his existence even if it comes down to .01%.

In absurdism, there is very little worth dying over.

But there is plenty worth living for.

no, i wouldn't willingly die for atheism. however i would be willing to die for the right to believe whatever i want, if it really came down to that.

not necessarily. we're just betting our souls on the idea that christians/muslims are wrong, which is much less of a gamble.

I think basing your life thinking about going to hell or heaven is egotistical and selfsentered. If you need a carrot to do good you need to question yourself if you just need to admit you might just be an asshole. I'd rather put my trust in a well meaning atheist than someone who does good deeds just cus he is "god-fearing" and want some sort of reward, even if its in the afterlife.

I'm not sure I even believe in the stereotypical "heaven" and "hell", I feel you manifest whatever state you create for yourself toward the end of your life. You either ascend in conscience/consciousness or descend in regret, selfpity and shame. All energi passes on, it will either be negatively or positively charged.

    You are partially correct.
our own souls will condemn or rectify us initially.
meaning if u wind up in hell u will know you deserve to be there.
u will know what universal laws u broke to get u there.
But since God can no longer give u a sense of hope, u will
continue to curse him. even in hell. u will be constantly reminded of how close u came
to not having to be there. and all the people u know that will soon follow u.
so youre right in a way. half of the torment in hell is mental.

Well, "correct" is subjective. Tbh, the correct answer is, wtf do we know till we get there ^^ But I believe in this interpretation I have as it makes sense. In the realm we know of, our world, energy always perpetuates and only changes form. I could only put this in the context of death and think of how our energy might be at the state of death. Which would be comprised of our being and our energy level at the time. So if there was anything more to it, it could be put in this context of what we know, but ofc it would only be speculation and subjective interpretation of the process, even if it would be a traditional beliefsystem.
