I do the same mixing process on every track using cool edit and i have top 2 or 3 quality on this site.

    Record main vocals

    decompress 4:1 then raise 6db

doubles - decompress 4:1 then lower 3 db

tripples same and lower 6 db i also add a chorus effect "wide & thick" to my tripples.. If you dont do tripples then u can add it to your doubles.

I also echo the end words of some doubles at times to fill in gaps if needed

mix all vocals into 1 track

    then use

studio voice - search for it on google "sho downs"
simple bass boost - under graphic eq
premaster eq - under graphic eq
    hard limiting
    normalize to 60%

    its as simple as that

check the music at my site

You have to put money in equipment if you expect to get a good sound first. Mixing is the most important, though it's only as good as your equipment. 3rd Inf has recorded so many songs that he knows what presets fit his vocals. If you want a desired sound then you have to fuck with the mix.. EQ,Compression,Reverb, whatever.

Yeah its about the money you put in... If you only got the $20 mic... You going to get $20 quality. Just saying.
