Cool Edit Pro 2.0 on windows 7?

    ive been trying to install 2.0 but every time i install it i get the same error message saying i dont have "WMVCore.DLL" anyone know what that is or how i can fix this? much appreciated

    ya man i got the same issue with cooledit adobe audition installed without the error but some reason when i try to record and shit in both programs says some messege like the audio device is not workin so id like to know how to fix this as well:huh:

    adobe audition (same thing) is too outdated for windows 7 u either need xp (cuz vista sux) or the xp extenson (i think thats what its called) that you can run it off 7

    I went through this whole thing a few months back was so frustrating when i upgraded to a new comp with 7, I like cooledit a lot it does what i need and am used to it so I tried downloading the missing .dll files and placed them in the correct folder which didn't work for shit so I literally loaded windows xp back onto the new comp(split your drive if you wish)and it works just like it used to no problems, that or figure out audition I tried that too just it didn't apply the effects the way cooledit did which is what I like it for
