Those of you Kerry supporters banking your hopes on that can let it go. It was shot down in the voting today....

"Colorado voters Tuesday overwhelmingly rejected an initiative that would have scrapped the state's winner-take-all system for awarding electoral votes to presidential candidates.

Critics had feared Amendment 36 could have thrown the national election into the courts because it would have split the state's electoral votes between President Bush and Democrat John Kerry based on the popular vote.

With 35 percent of precincts counted, 563,346 voters, or 66 percent, had cast ballots against Amendment 36. Voting for the measure were 288,706 or 34 percent."
