New Champ huh....should've known
haha man that was awesome... thats how you write wrestling. made sense too since raw needed a title
yea i'm glad it was him...now lets see how long he keeps it..
I'd say until the end of the night or until the next PPV
hopefully at least 3 months
^^i doubt that....and thats sad
hahaha at Cena bring Cryme Tyme....lol didnt see that coming
Can somebody please explain to me what the fuck just happened? I tuned into Raw late, they said something about two title matches so I thought there was a tag title match and an IC title match. I was able to catch the Jericho vs. Kofi rematch, though I missed how Kofi retained the title: did he pin Jericho cleanly or was it a disqualification?
Next thing I know Edge is yelling at the Major Brothers as if he lost his title. So I ask "Did Batista steal his title again?" Then all of a sudden there's JBL coming out for a World Heavyweight championship match, the second World Heavyweight championship match of the night. So I'm thinking did Batista or JBL beat Edge? JBL didn't, so Batista must have gotten a rematch for the screwjob last night. So I'm waiting to see Batista come out to make a defense and all of a sudden CM Punk's music hits and I realize he cashed in his briefcase. Then all of a sudden John Cena shows up WITH CRYME TYME.
Developing younger stars on Raw? Vince McMahon has lost his mind.
But seriously: CRYME TYME?
Cryme Tyme was put in because JBL used his personal hire 'thugs' to kick Cena out earlier in the night.
The Jericho-Kofi match ended horrible. Jericho got DQ'ed for holding the tights on Kofi in a roll-up pin.
i actually thought it was an entertaining show... i mean it still felt kind of wweish but at least their making some progress. and they did a great job using everyone IMO. for once.
yea i was impressed myself
At least Punk won't be failing any wellness tests anytime soon.
But yeah, holy shit.
Samoa Joe and CM Punk are world champions right now.
Other than CM Punk, the show had way too much talking.
True but was a step in the right direction then the previous shows
I was genuinely surprised to see CM Punk with a real world title. I think it was even written well, with WWE letting him score a defense the same night he got the strap. I honestly expected him to be either the first person to lose after cashing the briefcase in or I thought maybe he'd cash it in on ECW.
My only concern is that I think this is just a ploy by Vince to get dirt sheets buzzing for letting a smaller guy hold the big strap for a while. He did the same thing with Jericho, Eddie, Rey, and that unknown guy that allegedly beat both HHH and HBK in one match. We'll see if he gets any clean wins in the near future or if he'll just be pushed as a small guy that seems to beat the odds until the next Khali comes along and disposes of him in seconds.
But I'm hoping that JBL and Jericho will have major heel runs. The JBL rich guy stuff could be interesting.
I'm sure Punk's title run will make Jericho's undisputed title run look dominant. It would be great if they decided to just let him cut loose as a heel champ though.
punks not that small, he just looks small compared to juiced up freaks
I meant because he's straight edge.
Separate names with a comma.
