stone cold was always a bit more entertaining as far as character traits go. he would just whoop people's asses and had the crowd goin "what" any time anyone said anything. he was everyone's idol because he did what people wish they could do to their bosses.
the rock, simply, was the greatest entertainer in the history of wrestling. i don't care what anyone says, shadow's picture of the rock is the easiest example. all he had to do was smell, lift an eyebrow, look, smile, take a dump on someone's chest, no matter what he did, you've never heard a crowd cheer for someone like they do for the rock. to say you never got chills when he walked into a ring - regardless if you were there or at home, is a lie.
for fuck's sake, dude made the people's elbow, the admitted dumbest move in history, and everyone embraced it.
Stone Cold left before the Rock did, for the same reason the Rock did. Austin wasn't gonna put over brock, and the rock wasn't gonna put over cena. both were vets that were gonna get pushed out by younger guys who were gonna imitate exactly what austin and rock did before hand. Rock was his own superstar, whether he was pushed by stone cold or not. stone cold was pushed in wwf too. who cares?
i'd say they're both on equal star status. neither greater than the other.
hhh > cena.
Didn't Stone Cold leave cuz he fucked up his neck and woulda died or been paralyzed if he stuck around?
Gut is stupid
well, when he left the big uproar (which became part of the storyline) was that he left because they wanted him to lose to brock to put brock over and push him into a championship. austin wasn't gonna job to a newcomer when he was still wildly more popular than brock.
rock ripped into austin a few times because of that.
The first round was a tie....
Rock got second round.....the impersonation was better than the rap.....
I'm hoping rock responds like hollywood rock and makes a song about cena
Cm punk is the new jericho
lol with the guitar
I bet next week it becomes attacks on Miz
not really because if you think about it he wrestled years after that happened...im sure his neck still hurted but im sure that isn't the only reason why he left when he did...
a lot of this happened when i stopped watching. i completely missed brock's time in the WWE. i started watching again in 06 i think, and stone cold was gone. i cant recall seeing him in a serious match. usually he jus stunners a few people and keeps going.
but i heard somewhere if he wrestled again he'd be at a big risk of being injured for life/dying.
they told him that when he was dropped on his head by owen hart but he continued to wrestle matches here and there and had several title runs sense then
that's an interesting statement.
back it up.
I don't need to.....
I'm always right.....
You just nod and agree....
If your friends tell u I'm wrong then you have evry right to punch them in the face
CM Punk is the new Jericho in that he's got the technical skill to work a great match with anybody, as well as the verbal skill to sell a story line with anybody. He's further like Jericho in that he will forever be used to put over less talented people with a more menacing physique than his.
See... its just common sense
yeah punk always reminds me of jericho, it's pretty clear.
Rock was gone for 7 years and still doesn't create as much of a ratings boost as Austin.
mac made pretty much every point i could/would have made about rock.
thanks for saving me the typing, bro.
I don't wanna watch a danial bryan vs sheamus match either....
M cole was more entertaining than stone cold to me.....
Damn right I said it......
Cole has won me over tbh. I used to hate that dude with a passion. What r the ratings for cole segments the last couple of raws?
cole is great
