    He's sick with it.

I told him no more "Illmatic" this week.
He sits in a room with that cd and a 6-pack of Red Bull and goes nutso on the QWERTY board.

So you admit that he stays on cruise control and continues to spoonfeed his audience with his new release?

    Gotcha!

Yeah, I know... commercial viability is the key, even though it's flawed.

I disagree... the forces exist to keep the two camps polarized... some people mean it to be a difference in style... I take the conservative definition to mean it to be a difference in exposure.

I have plenty of times... in this thread for instance... go back and re-read.

You won't admit that Jay has been inconsistent... and when I prove it to you, you try to say something about Nas.

    Worthy a lil bit... he's top 20.

And my argument holds enough water to fill the Pacific.

Cruise control, if it can be called that, is still about a step in front of 90% of all Rap acts in the business. Is that the best you can do?

There you go again. You're the king of oversimplification.

That word has lost all meaning in today's music business.

    You've never proven that fact.
He's done 3, arguably 4 classic albums, in 10 years.
How inconsistent could he possibly be?

He's absolutely penned albums that were forgettable.
Two-three that I can think of. They were still all average.
He's never released anything as bad as "Nastradamus".
That album project was absolutely horrible.

    My eye.

Yeah, the Pacific Avenue spot on a Monopoly board.
