Death threats a day. Crazy.
I'm surprised it's not more.
The average amount of death threats for a U.S President since 1970 = 414 threats.
Lol. Wth so that's actually a low number?
Yes. It started to decline ever since the laws got harsher, like the patriot act etc.
I also think the slight change in the outward appearance of law enforcement had an impact as well. From the dress shirt and pants to the sort of military style dress of today.
To someone sane... making that death threat as a gesture of civil disobedience seems to have a lot more risks then in the past.
