No it wasn't.
That doesn't change the fact that he was well educated and called a Rabbi.
I mean, Jesus can say all day "don't call me rabbi"... but they still did.
Actually, it's called Faith.
I'm 100% sure there's a God. 100% sure of my beliefs. There is no doubt.
Word, faith is where its at. You either have faith in him, or you don't.
My only question is this......if their was a god, why would he allow genocide, rascism, and world wars? It doesnt make sense to me.
The same reason he allowed Adam and Eve to eat from the tree.
Yeah well I can say I'm 100% sure that God is a baboon hiding in Africa somewhere but without any proof it means jack shit.
Faith is just something people fall back on when they reach a question they can't answer with facts or logic. It proves nothing.
Ok let me rephrase this.
You can 100% sure that there is a God. BUT you cannot be 100% sure that you are right.
i have seen supernatural forces, and i had obe many times(if you know whats that). You have to discover God.If you undertsand The New Tesstament than you can understand the truth.I used to be agnostic too.Am not even Catholic.Am an Orthodox.Catholics are more like satanophobists than true Christians.
It may not prove anything, but if it makes them feel whole and happy, then it does as it was intended.
Saying God is speaking to you is a blasmphemy, just read The New Testament(and the 500+ pages)see what life you lead, and you will understand. And join also this webpage:
God is not needed proof,i mean also the revelations is coming true now, about the apostasy of people and getting fouled(sorry about my english).
are you american?
you will may never getting to know God if you don't turn to Orthodoxy
i am greek
That's fine with me, as long as they don't condemn me or any others for not sharing their faith I really have no problem with it.
I am not sure what you said in the first half of your post, but I think it's something along the lines of "we don't need proof of God." If so, you're wrong. If you are going to codemn people as being evil for not believing in an omnipotent being that creates, destroys, and controls everything that has ever existed in the universe, a little proof might help your cause. You can't call people evil for not believing in something, and then when they ask for some evidence that it exists say "don't worry about it.. just have faith." It's not a very convincing argument, it's only natural that people will have doubts.
For real, i hate it when some motherfucker pushes their religion on you.
I used to say wierd shit to freak them out and get them to leave me alone.
Shit happened to me the other day, this dude told me that god told him to speak to me.
I told him that i had my own god and politely thanked him. Then i walked away.
Who is your God nightbird, if you don't mind me asking?
I'm a Abenaki (native american) I was raised to believe in the great spirit and spirits as a whole. I also believe in evolution. I have tried to balance my beliefs.
Oh wow.. definitely wasn't expecting that.. I can't say I know anything about your religion to be honest.
Evolution doesn't necessarily have to clash with belief in God(s), creationists just don't like it because it means that humans were not the first to appear on the earth, contrary to the bible.
I think that people should be aware of all religions, as well as evolution. Then decide what they believe in and what they don't.
