it is possible, not sure exactly how you can do it, but im guessing with the FPC in fruity, you can assign each pad to its own number

Nah, whenever I was on the road for my last job I was always looking for a way to set my keyboard up as a midi interface to acid pro on my laptop. I like to make beats in acid pro while on the road but I hate using a mouse for everything...so it's not really a bad idea. I wouldn't do that in my setup at the house though...That would look kinda wierd banging the keyboard buttons to make a beat.

Nah, I was trying to figure out how to make it work more like an mpc with the samples I chop up in acid pro. I wanted to figure out how to cut a sample into like 30 different pieces and assign each individual sound to a certain key on the keyboard so I could just hit the keys while the drums are playing to preview how different parts of the sample would sound over the drums....I can't imagine playing piano melodies or shit like that on a pc keyboard lol. Although I type fast as hell so that shit might be real easy for me.

    funny u mention this.

A friend jus loaded a small program called midikeys onto my comp and it turns your keyboard into a music keyboard. runs real well with any audio program.

made a beat completely in the car with it...ill load it up right now for fun haha.

I dont recommend doing this. I suggest clicking until you can pick up a mpd of the sort. Or a small midi controller and use the keys
