lmao @ this thread being a chance for you geek ass internet kids to post storys of what you and your cool group of 110 pound white, chain smoking, pill popping friends would would do.
Bottom line. NONE of you would of done anything.
Matter a fact I can bet probably 90% of you havent even had a confrontation with police lol.
The knees to the kid's back were uncalled for. He was alreay pinned on the ground.
on the real if you pop off like that you deserve whatever happens. don't people know by now that cops are LOOKING and WAITING to do something like that? and they just gonna give them a reason to, well that's what they get.
This shit makes me feel sick.
Those officers are out of line. I hope they lose their jobs.
Man back in the UK we woulda took his tit helmet off and battered him all over the street with it, then we woulda.......lmao NAAAHHHH
I hate cops, INS, Customs and any cunt with a uniform and authority over me!!!! BUT....unless I got a good reason I'm defo a 'yes sir no sir' type of person around the popo lol well now I'm legal that might change but out here cops aint fucking around and WILL shoot you if given the chance, them transit cops were fruity as hell but even so, they can beat you down legally and if you swing back you going away for a few, so you can never really win......unless you do like them dudes from Jamacia Queens, them ones who run up on that cop in his car and put one in his dome!!!! even then I think they still got caught......
I was once rude to an Immigration officer who took they gun out on me, put me in cuffs, didnt let me drink water and wrote down in my file I am an aggressive person, when I'm not at all lol I just wanted my phone call lol got escorted to the plane in cuffs, lol you shoulda seen the other passengers faces when they brought me on all criminal looking lol

CTV Calgary- Calgary Transit investigates YouTube incident - CTV News, Shows and Sports -- Canadian Television
That was an RA the Rugged Man live rap show btw.
BAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA! This is the best video ever. The most lulzy part is when some disembodied voice from behind the camera yells stuff like "you're all losing your jobs over this!" To me that sounded A LOT like Ricky from Trailer Park Boys, either that or the yeller felt inspired to yell what Ricky yells when he gets arrested. Either way, funny! "What's your high school education?!" HAHAHAHHA! As if Cody the Catcher is a grad student.
Anyways, I'm pretty sure its the job of police, even transit police, to subdue and remove drunken assholes from wherever they are, so in reality this is a job well done on their part. The extra knee in the back is funny and probably deserved. These officers will not lose their jobs for this because there's nothing wrong with their actions.
Some people actually experience genuine brutality and systematic repression at the hands of the police but this doesn't qualify. There's something wrong with you if you think that acting like an asshole in public won't bring the attention of the authorities, and there's definitely something wrong with you if you think that behaving like an asshole to those authorities has no consequences. Anyone who says that they were arrested for absolutely no reason is a fucking moron. Still, I bet these guys all bonded over this experience, it probably made them stronger and they'll probably all get matching neck tattoos to commemorate the occasion. HAHAHAHA
If you're going to act like that (over nothing) then you probably deserve to get your ass kicked.
Didn't chris rock teach these kids anything?
you're a fuckin idiot.
sure, the kids were being retards and were making it harder for themselves, but there is very little reason to attack them.
and when he was screaming "thats uncalled for" check the knees the cop was feeding him in the ribs.
its instances like this that make people think cops are fags.
if a cop asked me to step down from the platform, i'd ask if i was under arrest, and if their answer was "no" i'd explain to them they have no right to detain me or lay a finger on me, cause my friend, those are your "rights"
worst post ever
This looks fake as fuck
And even if it's real, it just makes Cody look bad
HAHAHAHHAHAHA! *cough* Woops, sorry to laugh at an expert on civic responsibility, law enforcement/security operational procedure, legal rights, discourse analysis and video forensics...it's just that you might be getting your information from outdated high school textbooks (or possibly websites written by angry punk rock suburbanites).
As eager as you may be to find evidence that cops are horrible brutal maniacs and the drunken assholes are just harmlessly "being retards" - I doubt you honestly are so naive that you think security personnel aren't obligated to subdue and remove drunken idiots from public? I also doubt that you're so stupid that you did not notice a jump in the video between Cody the Catcher (AKA, bottom) calmly talking to the cop, and then being detained while shouting insults. I also doubt that you actually think that 'rights' means you're free to do whatever you want anywhere you want to do it? And you're probably smart enough to know that one drunk moron shouting "that's uncalled for" doesn't actually carry the authority to establish parameters of what is "uncalled for", nor does the video actually constitute sufficient evidence of the totality of the event since it contains a single perspective that attempts to be sympathetic to the "victim" (although from my judgment Cody Catcher had it coming). Security footage and eyewitness testimony probably tells a different story.
PS: the final statement of your dumb response is logically flawed in two ways. One is that it is absurd to "explain to them they have no right to detain me" after they say your not under arrest - such an explanation is unnecessary at that point and any reasonable person, let alone a cop, would find it obnoxious - but more importantly the fact that you're not under arrest doesn't negate a cop's right to arrest you if they find cause. Those are the logical problems, the legal problem is that the field of actions isn't split into the mutually exclusive categories of "things your allowed to do by right" and "things you can get arrested for". There can be consequences to actions that are unlikely to lead to arrest. If, in this hypothetical situation you've invented, a cop tells you to get off a platform and you do not comply, he can remove you physically from it even if you aren't under arrest. Jesus, don't you ever think?!
The video is hilarious, I hope these guys get beaten up in public and record it again.
