I got one of these cause it had great reviews but at first I couldnt hear anything out of my headphones and I found a setting in windows vista to 'listen to this device' and when I turned that on I could hear it fine.

But there is a latency in it making it impossible to record to anything with a rhythm.

Anyone fuck with these mics before? Or any other USB mics? This seems to be an unusual problem as I know a lot of people use these, any tips?

You're not going to be able to hear the SnoBall through your headphones when you record.. that is the one drawback to the mic.. besides that, it is perfect..

if I'm not mistaken, you can't hear yourself through any USB mic while recording.
