it's actually really good...I assume you are talking about the summoning techniques

The Slug thing is Lady Tsunade's summon, She is a medical ninja and her slug helps heal

The Frogs practice Sage' technique which uses Natural energy instead of your own. Jariya, the 4th and Naruto all learned it but Naruto is the only one to perfect the technique. This technique is very powerful and requires the user to have a lot of chakra(energy) to use.

The Tailed beast also can talk which are large, powerful chakra monsters that are stored inside random ninjas to prevent them from running around destroying things. Each villaged seems to seek control of one host to use as a weapon. Naruto had the 9-tailed beast stored in him. The hosts can draw on these monster's chakra and to use as their own but drawing too much without being able to control the beast can cause the beast to break free.

If an animal talks, it is either because of a summoning technique or it being a tailed beast because random animals don't just talk in the series. If they talk, they have a purpose.

You should really try it out

I'm wondering if the fox mask Gin wore on a recent cover is going to come into play. Like how we saw a glimpse of scarmask back during the Nnoitra/Nel/Kenny chapters.

I wouldn't rule out Gin being a Vaizard yet.

Maybe he had Tousen hollowfy him a century ago and he's been honing those abilities in anticipation for the Aizen confrontation all these years.

    Unlikely but fun idea.

it's a good idea Dex...it would be hard to believe the Aizen and Tousen both had hollow powers and Gin didn't

    So Halibel was a VL.

Think that pretty much confirms Starrk and Barragan as well.

Haven't read the new chapter yet.

There is a new Data book that was released and hasn't been translated but it appears that the top 4 were VLs and maybe even Yammi in his fully released forms

there was also a pictures of the former Captains and VC from back in the TBTP arc...the former Kenpachi etc

but once the Data book is translated we'll know for sure

Always wondered who the 10th captain was before Hits.

And why Kubo has some weird fetish for arm amputations.

I know it's fashionable to be critical, and I really hate to criticize...

But the last 40 chapters have been truly awful.

    Terrible pacing.

    Too many loose ends.

    Just a creative mess, honestly.

Aizen and Gin have both been ruined.

    So much for Gin.

Did Ichigo just turn SSJ? And Zangetsu just turn into the Blades of Chaos? Why is the chain up his arm?

He also got a power-up because his clothes are bigger.

Kubo kept Gin in secrecy for so long just for this?

    Terrible.

I wouldn't be upset if KT just scrapped the last 40 chapters and tried again.

    Tousen >

Kubo racist as hell for killing him off early.

He should've been the judas instead of Gin.
