does the word still carry the same affect as it did 10 years ago? I see alot of women using it as an impowering word now a days more then a word used to bring down someone.

It Depends On The Way They Use It To Me..

If Someone Says It Kidding Around.. Im Fine, I'll Laugh With It.. Because Of Course I Have My Own Bitch Tendencies..But If, Someone That I Really Dont Know...Straight Up Tries To Son Me Calling Me A Bitch.. Theres A Big Change Im Gonna Get Angry..

I don't mind at all being called a Bitch. It's a word, nothing that means much of anything to me. The only time calling me a btich would get you in trouble, is if your my husband....LOL. But that doesn't happen. Soo, no I don't get offended when I'm called a Bitch and I've been called it more then once =p

Language meaning and use is constantly changing and evolving... I think words hold as much power over you as you give them... I wouldn't be any more offended by someone calling me a bitch than I would if they called me an asshole.

  10. i think it depends what context and situation you say it in. Like it can be degrading to a woman or it can be said by women to other women just out of jealousy over her new shoes and her friend knows its a joke. So yea, it depends on where and when it was said. For me,calling a woman a bitch is just the height of disrepect, though.

    basically
i dont agree with people using that
i mean when black folks use it with eachother i understand...

basically though bitch for a female only has one meaning for me...
she needs to get her act together and her priorities straight
thats what bitch means to me
