I honestly get upset thinking about the fact that I'll never get to here a new Big L song. Why couldnt he of like lived in his basement making songs like Tupac?

I still say his first album was garbage, cuz it was ;P. But,...

"I know you want me ho, if I was you I'd want me too bitch!".. from the OC feat. Big L

That's all I can remember.. was'nt too big of a fan. Back then it was that East/West shit crackin. So I was blinded.

You ain't a leader nobody ever followed you/ you was never shit, your mother should've swallowed you

I got more riches than you/ fuck more bitches than you/ only thing I haven't got is more stiches than you

what's this motherfucking rap game without L?/ that's like ûûûelz without ice/ that's like China without rice/ or the Holy Bible without Christ/ or the Bulls without Mike/ or crackheads without pipes/ the village without dykes/ or hockey games without fights

    whole Ebonics track

he has a bunch. Big L was had the perfect swagger and bluster to his flow, didn't mind talking about his Cristal and ice. Except he mixed it around and made that shit sound dope.

I treat hoes like boomerangs, no matter how far I throw em' they always come back.

I'm smoother then velvet, my lyrics are well writ, you saying L this and L that, get off L Dick.

I be that young, crutty, fly, smoothe, glorious kid./ A bad boy just like Notorious Big./ A rocafella like Sean Carter, with more game then Ron Harper./

Ya'll gotta listen to Street Struck. Hip hop with a message behind it.

And when it comes to getting nookie, I'm not a rookie, I got chicks that make Toni Braxton look like Whoopi./

"One two one two crews I run through
Fuck karate Big L practice Gun Fu"

"Step to this and get shanked up
I knocked out so many teeth the tooth fairy went bankrupt"

"I'm undefeated that's the stone truth
Cause battlin' me is like fightin' a gorilla in a phone booth"

"Facts on tracks I recite well
Everybody wanna be like Mike but Mike wanna be like L"

And those are just from one song!

"So don't step to this, cause I got a live crew
You might be kinda big but they make coffins yo' size too"

"I was taught wise, I'm known to extort guys
This ain't Cali, it's Harlem ûûûûû we do walkbys"

"Me being a virgin, that's idiotic
Cause if Big L got the AIDS every cutie in the city got it"

big l is fucking sick. i don't know about mainstream rappers trying to bite his style though. if they are, i'd have to say that's it's the worst attempt ever cause big L was definitely one of a kind and nobody out right now sounds even remotely close to him.

The only others using his style were C-Town and maybe McGruff but they were his boys. And really, his style was a much tighter version of lord finesse's.

I think it's called Settin it Off. It's from the first album Lifestyles of the Poor and Dangerous. (His best by far and in my opinion infinitely tighter than Illmatic)

    And here's another nice line:
