ironman is the shit, and had 'daytona 500' which was one of my favorite videos at the time.

i remember back when i was a kid, while getting faded with homies and shit, we would put on cartoons while listening to music, and it would seem like the cartoon characters were rapping. i guess i was easily entertained.

but personally, the production and lyrics on tical 2000 was the best of any wu solo release imo. that cd is a must have for road trips for me. its brimming with slap.

The wu was very important to me growin up in ny. They heavily influenced my hiphop preference. It would be hard to pick just one solo album. But rae's first joint would likely be my pick for best solo joint.

i dunno, i kinda have to agree homie. And i'm knocking on 30's door.

Do cats really think iron man was better that supreme clientele?

I remember ghost when he first came out and he was still in the shadow of rae, and ironman (to me) wasn't mind blowing.

And ghost is prolly my fav out of wu.

Ghost is the best in the Wu, without a doubt. I dunno...I just remember when "Iron Man" released in 96 (after Rae's shit) it was the biggest deal and it had a huge influence on heads my age around me. I can see the argument though. Both "Iron Man" and "Supreme Clientele" are classics.

agreed it's a classic. But to me it's his third best album.
    I know that sounds weird.

Still don't think they fucking with obfcl
that album might be the best rap album to me period.

People are sleeping on that Masta Killa. Good to see someone else is hip.

Only reason I didn't put it on the list, is it came out too late to be a truly influential Wu album. But the shit was SOLLLLLLID.

    When they all rapped together

    Insepctach Deck > wu

But as far ar pure rawness of album Liquid swordz, OB4CL, and Tical were always in a Dead heat to me and Supreme just shined above those 3 in my eyes.

Not to take anything away from Iron it was amazing, but i damn near forgot it when Supreme came out

For the record, i do believe I'm one of the few nigga that Bobby digital was fucking terrible.
