Could you specify what type of voices those mics would suit, or the colorization those mics may provide, so no one asks or goes and buys them then complains

This is a mic I would say would suit a male singer, or mid-high voices.

    ADK A-51 $149
Suits mid - mid high very well, sounds alot like a U-67

    AT 2020 $99
Great workhorse mic, should be fairly versitile.

    Oktava 319 $99
Nice on female singers, and male singers, or those with high voices.

    Studio Projects C1 $199
Deep voices, and some mid-deep as well.

for 130 tops.. i would say Studio Projects VTB-1.. but for the cheap pre's i really love it.. for a little more you could get the DMP3.. its like 150 i think..

    and get the 0404..

    For cheap pre's....

    M-Audio DMP3
    SP VTB-1

Illete, check google, to see if any reviews are up.
I never heard of this pre till lmid last week, but what I have heard is just niceness.

Kaotic, while I haven't A/B'd them, I would say the 192 would be better.
