I used to. I lost my grip in an early set of reps and the bar rolled down my arms onto my chest. It was when I was first starting, so it must have been around 150lbs.
I laid there for about 10 minutes stunned. I felt sore, but it did no damage.
I use dumbells now, because I don't work well with a spot.
Fuck that shit.
I just get 65 lb. dums and go till I can't no more... drop them shits on the ground.
i work out alone...
im working out to get fit, i dont care about maxing out on my lifts EVERYTIME.
I bench alone but i dumbell bench......safer to do alone than barbell bench lol
