    You're controlling me,
    But I'd never give in-
    I listened to that,
    Voice wracked with guilt.
    Left alone in my own Humility
    Lost for words myself,
    Where did your temperature rise?
    Why did my cold heart melt?
    I remember the jokes
    The laughing-
    The scrupulous observations;
    I surmised my own conclusive deterrent
    For that control which you fmd freeing
    I lost it all in a moment of clarity.
    Trying to escape you too, could
    Maybe free me
    From the friction
    Of escapism and
    Blasphemous dreams- I-waste-away- in,
    Thoughts came;
    And my thinking passed-
    Into a more
    Communicative,
    Forbidden,
    Pattern ...
    Yea, I'll never GIVE IN
    Cause if I could have thought
    If maybe I had a slight clue-
    I'd never remember your goodness.
    I'd waste my follow through,
    And you would be so easy to forget
    But I like your' appeasments'
    Your lack -of-discord-
    My strength lies in my animal nature;
    Lost at a time,
    When I could have KNOWN you
    But I'll say it again; my strength lay in my follow through
    So when were we supposed to gather?
    I'd have a Leo for dinner
    Rather-
    And let you go ...
    Go .
    Go .
    I

    nice honest piece...a deep look into your heart. i bet you'd feel naked if you read this in a public space seeing as how it is a very personal confession, though it has an ambiguous air to it at the same time

    I liked this line a lot

    My strength lies in my animal nature;
    Lost at a time,
    When I could have KNOWN you
    But I'll say it again; my strength lay in my follow through

    why did you title this as being christian?

    to be a person who values their word is something of a religious thing?

    or is it that you had judged the person and as a result of religion separated the value of your word as being something that your character could not uphold unless there was value in the action than the thing itself?

    I was a little thrown by the use of discord and lack of discord, as it was a double negative. clarity need here.

    otherwise, i like

    there it is..the polar opposites at work.the animal nature being the ultimate saviour in this case
    or ultimate downfall?? at least thats how the verse leaped,grabbed me by the hoodie and said, "pay attention!"
    dopeness sir! sheer dopeness..~respect~
