They remember that WCW failed for a reason, right?

Also, lol @ advertising the Hogan/Flair match in the first five minutes, only to NOT DELIVER THE MATCH THEY WERE ADVERTISING.
THEY ADVERTISED THE MATCH JUST TO GET AS MANY PEOPLE WATCHING AS POSSIBLE WHEN THEY DIDN'T DELIVER WHAT THEY PROMISED.

rvd had the original van dam music from the ecw days.. and the one he uses on his blogtalk radio show

Exactly what I was getting at in the other thread.

There's no reason RVD should've been a surprise appearance on a TNA show. His appearance should've been hyped heavily somewhere other than rumor mills on the internet.

TNA is just fucking awful at business. It's amazing. They have no concept of the long term whatsoever. It's all like the wild west.

Even Sting is handled horribly. Good god.

The man still seems somewhat motivated to make for some good TV, and look how it's handled.

    No,

    he didn't.

It's an original theme and it fucking sucks.

here's the only other ecw theme associated with him:

Spike has to run commercials for the show...Spike really does no advertising for TNA. Granted I don't watch Spike a lot but when I do I never see anything about TNA. But when I watch USA, i frequently see commercials for Raw hyping the show and the guest host and various feuds.

However once he was confirmed TNA should have put it on their site or SpikeTV should have put it on their site.

Hulk was the biggest heel in the business when he joined the Outsiders.

And Sting? He's a big name if you're a WCW fan, but other than that nobody really knows who he is. If he came to WWE today he could be a true heel easily.

TNA should have advertised RVD instead of pushing Hogan and Flair so hard, which I honestly wouldn't watch if someone paid me. I'm not that big on RVD either, but he was at PWG recently and had a great showing. So TNA, wtf? Can you do anything right?

Actually, Hogan was over HUGE as a heel. It was Hall and Nash that would get the real pops.

hollywood hogan was arguably the greatest heel charatcter of all time. and the most effective one .. he forever changed the way heels are portrayed with his street smart persona.

hulk hogan was not only the greatest most well known face ever..he was also the greatest heel. people need to give this man some serious credit..he is a genius..a real genius in every sense of the word. and it has nothing to do with in ring ability (which was pretty ok in the 70s and 80s for hogan, he just developed a style that excluded his mat arestling ability in order to outline his character more)
