    yea i like fantasy art too. I'm not really a fan of abstract-(geometric shapes /lines type art) but Im good with everything else

    You mean cubism (Pablo Picasso is the poster child of it) from the avant-garde era? That's more of a distorted reality, than anything else...

    ...I find myself being swept by art, as long as it cathes my eye...and sometimes I'll visit local galleries, sit down staring at a painting, art installations or a sculpture for a long period of time, just disecting and analysing it...:scared:

    I think my fave would be surrealist art....it's about the unconscious protruding into a clash with reality.

    OR is surreal mix of abstract with real?

    Surreal art involves imagined ideas that can be thoughtfully interpreted by the observer....while abstract art is more difficult to interpret and provides detail extending beyond ones possibility for imagining.
