    Kerry voted to give BUSH the authority to go to war.

    Well for one, people in the senate are suppose to show faith in the president.

    And at the time of the vote it wasn't even certain that Bush was definitely going to go to war.

    And in times when war might be the only solutio, you need to give the president that option. No one thought Bush was going to use his power unjustly like that. Well some knew, but not most....

    Because most people think we were actually fighting the people who attacked us on 9/11 by going to Iraq.....

    It's all bullshit.

    erm actually the reason is that the president gets information that other people dont get.

    in that case, his opinion is going to be more educated, and he will be in a better position to make a choice.

    ironically, i bet every terrorist is hoping bush wins the election. with bush in power, soooo many more young hopeless children can be easily brainwashed into blowing themselves up...

    but what if the president just made one speech. saying look, we dont hate the rest of the world etc, and just made a fucking real good impression. if i were running a country i would make sure everyone knows what im doing and why, that way they CANT disagree with you because everything is pre-approved
