I'm of course talking about episodes 7-9..........u think this will be done?
no, he said when he was making the Phantom Menace that there was no possible way he could do those...it's ending with the new one.
He's making a TV show about what happens between Episodes III and IV.
I heard George Lucas was going to make some porn videos so he could describe how Anakin was born.
do i smell Episodes III 1/2.....i think i do!?...bloop
God lets hope not....
nerds have the matrix now...let star wars die.
He is ending the series with Revenge Of The Sith. He said he would NEVER allow anyone else to continue the series either, which I think is good. He is the mastermind behind the shit.
As for the TV shows, there is 2, and they are side stories, about unimportant characters in the movies. You might be right about the time period, but none of ya favorite star wars characters would be in it.
Plus the fact that its on TV, seems like it would suck to me.
i call bullshit. i say in three years from now, george will think "hmm i need a couple more million, lets do 7, 8, 9." and he will. and i will sweat every second of it. garbage or not.
theres loads of novels that explain wot happens after
he's like 61 now. he said he'd never let anyone else make them and i dont think time is on his side to make 3 more star wars.
Word @ The post above me.
You got to figure, Im nearly 22 right now, and "The Phantom Menace" came out when I was in high school. It would take nearly another decade to do another 3 movies.
I highly doubt the dude needs anymore money, the original Star Wars grossed more money than any other movie in history, with exception of Titanic, and thats compared to what money was worth in the seventies.
He finances the movies out his own pocket too, so it aint no studio making money, he making nearly ALL the money the movies produce.
Heres how all the movies place in all time Movie thearter sales
2 Star Wars 5/25/77 $460,998,007
5 Star Wars: Episode I — The Phantom Menace 5/19/99 $431,088,301
17 Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones 5/16/02 $310,676,740
18 Return of the Jedi 5/25/83 $309,306,177
22 The Empire Strikes Back 5/21/80 $290,475,067
5 of the top 25 grossing movies ever.
Thats nearly 1.8 billion in just movie sales. Plus video games, t shirts, and all the other money star wars has made....
My point, he dont need to push the series any further to get money.
He said he is working on making smaller movies now, plus maybe a new indiana jones, and for the record...
61 Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade 5/24/89 $197,171,806
78 Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom 5/23/84 $179,870,271
I'm surprised there hasn't been a movie for shadows of the empire
word, I was never a fan
