Feels like they heard about his death and instantly started writing it into the storyline.
I do but it wasn't as disrespectful and tasteless as I expected and added something more interesting to the story, for me anyway, so I'm ok with it I guess as long as it doesn't get to faggity.
i mean, yeah, it wasnt as bad as when Orton told Rey that Eddie was watching from hell, but it also happened less than a week ago. I didnt like Punk interrupting the tribute. Should have had a real tribute between Kane and Taker.
Yeah I didn't like him interrupting it I immediately got upset like with Lawler and the heart attack but I was expecting some total bitch shit to piss me all the way off but it didn't ya know? I felt like the show should have ended with them both doing the kneel shit though
yeah. at least they ended it with Kane beating Punk, and Taker getting the assist. but there should have been a proper tribute. probably was one after they went off the air.
Agreed...i was hoping for a little "Brothers of Destruction" action
good line going into WM. he'll come out with the urn, taker's powers waning, suddenly taker gets rejuvinated, beats him, takes the urn, and leaves.
probably do a buried alive match now.
Had no problem with it, and think Paul Bearer would be fine with it too.
And if they waited any longer wit would be too late.
I suppose that would be up to his family but as a fan, I loved it.
Punk vs Taker seemed kind of forced before yesterday. Now it's "personal".
yeagh they had his sons there, I'm sure they knew it was going down before hand. it would have been cool if they involved his sons some how, like gave them the urn after the show, instead they gave it to cm punk lol. I guess they did involve his sons technically.
Didn't know that, glad you brought it up. And another thing come to think of it, Taker would veto that shit if it were a problem.
it did feel kinda weird being that it just happened, but this really was the best time to use it in the story.
JR said that bearer would have been thrilled to be involved in a storyline leading to mania.
i wonder what chance he would have been involved if he didn't die
i think there was a good chance. especially if haymen is in punks corner.
I think it adds to the story however it is a little unsettling, considering all things surrounding this storyline. I honestly don't believe the streak will ever be broken, and I feel this ensures Undertaker's victory. I'm good with that..as much of a cm punk fan that I am..I don't think he needs to have that long ass reign and be the one to end the streak..punks my nga but he's not really the best in the world LIKE THAT..
ahh punk killed it on monday, I was dying.
best paul bearer impression I heard so far.
and now my question is:
have they gone too far?
and does this make punk the greatest heel of all time?
yes it does
