    He never established an identity... he was like an everyman type of rapper, but his lack of focus was his downfall, IMO... all the greats had a certain role or persona... they also had a particular musical focus that suited their styles... AZ was trying to imitate what was popular, but he never distinguished himself... he was basically all technique and very little style.

    Doe or Die was a near classic to me and i enjoyed Aziatic but most of his others just slipped under the radar. I didnt even hear 9 Lives or Pieces of Man til recently and AWOL, The Format and Undeniable didnt stay in rotation for long.
