I'm clueless as to what people mean when they use phrases to critique my stuff.

I'd like to know what I'm doing, so.. I want to do some reading.

Any recommendations or advice is appreciated.

    trouble with:
    reliance on simile
    metaphors are difficult to formulate
    switching around rhyme schemes
rhyme schemes in general, what works, transitions.. etc

    Sup p-did my friend.

Sign up at The Poetry Forum UK. I'm coup over there. That place is more active with a lot more poets. New stuff is posted everyday, every hour.

Go for a run...run until you drop dead. Walk home. Write.

write just anything and everything for 30 mins non stop. Whatever, just sustain the pressure. GO back and pick your good lines...and after the exercise you will be warmed up.

Trying to help you think of ideas.

sound advice coup, thank you for always having the right answers.
didn't mean to come at you crooked on that sanctuary forum but i had to drop some thought on that.
i'm going to start writing fresh.
been ghostwriting tryna get some verses together for an EP with a good friend of mine that's almost got a studio with a mic booth set up.

been working on metaphors and staying away from a-b a -b rhyme schemes
i'm gonna hop on that AIM and wait for your ass to IM me, wanna ask you a few questions about some RL issues I'm facing I think you might have some important insight onto. it's real small.. but once you get it go into aim settings, startup options, and uncheck the box that makes a window pop up.
you won't even notice it's there with that one step.
looking forward to your next piece.
