anybody ever order from Eastbay? I need help..

    ok well there during the week i ordered two pairs of shoes on eastbay

    and tonight i check my emails and jus happened to look in my junk mail folder.. to see two emails from eastbay both with the same message:

    Dear Martin,
    Thank you for ordering from Eastbay. To process your order
    efficiently, we request written confirmation of the order. To
    confirm your order, simply reply to this email and provide your
    name, credit card billing address and phone number. Please also
    include the bank name and phone number printed on your credit card.
    If we do not receive your written confirmation within 5 business
    days, the order will be cancelled and you will be notified. If you
    wish to check the status of your order, please visit our website at

    Somehow i thought NNNNNNOOOOOOO.. but i emailed the customer service for help anyway.. though the emails where from

    and the subject read: Request for Verification (PPD)

    Still i dont believe it

    has anybody ordered of eastbay? can you tell me if this is normal?

    That is not normal at all man. I haven`t ordered from them in over a year, but when I did they just sent an email confirming the order and I replied and said the info was correct, or some shit. No way I would email a CC# lol, take Jeff`s advice..

    they will do it from time to time if something dosnt match up, i worked for them and i seen this done before..

    i ordered from them 2 months ago and they did this, because i entered my billing address wrong, but they didnt ask me to email it, they just gave me the 1800 number for the billing department to call...

    like jeff said, i would call them, i never email that kinda shit..
