The Documentary isn't. Neither is GRODT in my eyes.
Purple Haze is good but it isn't a classic either.

Hmmm ive been looking through my recently bought older ones and the only ones that i can listen to all the way through would be Scarface - The Fix, Talib Kweli - Quality, and Sweatshop Union's first one.

The Carter - Absolutely the most overlooked, overhated, underappreciated album of 04' and pretty much in the past 5 years. I can't understand the hate on Lil Wayne now. There's just no denying he's ill now.

Rip The Jacker - One of the best albums ever created, but haters love to jump on the anti-Bis bandwagon.

The Listening - I mean how many people have even HEARD of Little Brother? 9th comes correct on ALL of the beats on this album.

    here are the actual classics:

    Biggie- ready to die
    mobb deep- The Infamous...
    nas- illmatic
    jay-z- reasonable doubt
    tupac- all eyes on me
eminem- marshall mather lp and slim shady lp
DMX- i ts dark and hell is hot
    dr.dre- the chronic
    snoop dogg- doggystyle
50 cent- nothing cause he's an idiot
    redman- docs da name 2000
    wu tang- 36 chambers
    puff daddy- j/k he's not a rapper
    ODB- Nigga please...
    the roots- phrenology
Lord Tariq and Peter Gunz - let it reign

thats pretty much all the classics in my eyes, if you disagree with anyone of those records you're a fuckin retard who doesn't know shit about rap and should die a horrible death.....

i'll agree with the rest, but, i wouldve gone for.....

2pac - me against the world
redman - dare iz a darkside
puff daddy - now way out - this is actually a good solid album, he may not be a rapper, but this is a good album.
ODB - n**ga please is good, but how can u not have return to 36 chambers as a classic ?? it pisses on n**ga please, just with the intro.....
the roots - things fall apart
lord tariq & peter gunz - good album, personally dont think its classic material tho.

plus, i thought it was albums people are AFRAID to call classic, not actual commonly considered classic........

    da brat - funkdafied
shyhiem - aka the rugged child
uncle bungle - grown up rap
funkdoobiest - which doobie u be
mc eiht - we come strapped

people sayin a long hot summer and death is certain and mirror music.

i think he was more or so saying, commercial shit that people ridicule, like purple haze and g unit shit.

well i am listing classics of my day, i didn't grow up listening to kool keith and i think the beastie boys are just noise. people disagree all the time and their is not 1 person who will agree on all of the records, but the ones i listed are considered classics in their own right. and one hting we can agree on is that GRODT or anything by 50 cent he is going to put out or whatever will not be a classic beacue he has no material other then rapping about guns for an hour....
