I know we always think about space exploration, but the ocean is so vast and deep that we don't have the technology to explore the deepest, darkest depths of the ocean.

I know there is some creepy shit living in the depths of the ocean man.

Why do you think space gets all the attention while 95 percent of our oceans haven't been explored?

I only thought about this because of the 18 foot sea creature they found off the coast of LA:

What type of shit yall think is down in the deepest parts of the ocean man? :scared:

Shallower parts of the ocean, and those closer to coastline, have understandably gotten the lion's share of investigation.

What's been fairly well explored is about one Washington Monument down into the ocean — about 556 feet (170 meters) — said Mike Vecchione, a veteran scientist with NOAA and the Smithsonian Institution.

Impressive, perhaps, yet the average depth of the planet's oceans is 13,120 feet. (20x deeper than what's been explored).

They walk and chew gum, man. It's two different professions of exploration. Both are significant, space much, much more-so though. Space is everything. It is eventual time travel, eventual alien discoveries and eventual trans-planet travel if it's all played right and headed in the direction it seems to be headed in. I can't wait, but I won't be here when the real real happens.

None of that shit besides aliens is possible man

The shit that bothers me about space travel is the holes they burn in the ozone layer every fucking time they send something out also every time they send something out we have an extreme weather shift they act like it doesn't effect anything but it does

It's a bunch of species of sea life we have never saw

    And? It's not practical

You travel back in time and end up on a meteor ten million miles from earth about to die from lack of oxygen but you went back in time! Stop being gullible this isn't a movie bro.

100 hundred years ago obliterating an entire city with the press of a button wasn't practical

    then

    out of nowhere

    it was.

250 years ago listening to a dead man sing was ludicrous. 150 years ago man achieving flight was laughable.

now everytime i look up muh fuckas are flying over my head listening to their own private concerts consisting of everything from Beethoven to Mac Miller.

    if its possible

    it will happen

    somewhere

    some time
